View attachment 858043 Just bought one of these, not sure why, but seemed like a good deal. Any advice about bottle compatibility is welcome :)
I don't have a Topside,so i am not positive,but i believe i remember people saying they are proprietary bottles.There may be a workaround though,never know.
For that price i may have to grab one too.

Just used alcohol and let them soak. Mine get fairly gunky with 90% vg juice. Big chunks of goo.
I boil water in a coffee cup in the microwave, then add like two drops of dish soap and then toss in the coils and stir it up vigorously with a butter knife, let it soak until it cools down, then stir it up again. If the water is especially dirty, I will repeat that process until I get clean water. Then I rinse the piss out of them because the last thing you want is a soap taste (when you think you are done rinsing, rinse again lol). Then I soak them in vodka which should chase out most of the moisture, stirring them up with a butter knife again. I also blow them out using my mouth after each step, lol. I let them dry for a day or two on a paper towel, or if I am impatient and need to use them right away I will prime them with pg once and blow it through them. That seems to work pretty well for me, but I am also thinking of getting an ultrasonic cleaner to use as a final step after doing all of the above.

Although, with the amount of coils I have, there is really no need for me to clean them anymore for the rest of my life, but I am saving them all as you can never be too prepared. There might be a medical miracle in the future that allows people to live to 150 or something. lmao

When you toss the coils into the water that was boiled, do them a couple at a time because the water then spatters and comes up to the top for some reason. (I was never good at physics, so I have no idea why it does that).

I really like the Sanyo 20700B batteries. I get a lot of vaping time from them. But if you do higher watt vaping, the 20700A or C would be better.

I just ordered four of the Sanyo 20700 4000mah cells from LionWholesale. Looking forward to using them. They should be perfect for my 10W MTL vaping style.

I hate when Vapsourcing has deals (although this one, meh) because I will never use them. And Gearbest. With Gearbest, it's personal. With Vapesourcing, I have read a few too many "Negative supplier" reports. OMG this one time, a chick posted an email Vapesourcing sent with OTHER people's info on it. I told her tot take it down for the love of God, but any company that does that? Yeah, I don't even enter their COMPETITIONS. Heh.

There should be a RIDICULOUS button!

My last FastTech order was placed on 11-5-2019. It's finally made it to Philadelphia and on the way South to Macon, GA. after a month and ten days. Why they sent it from Miami to Philadelphia is a mystery. It had to pass within 2 miles of my house going up I-75. Truck or Plane, they usually follow I-75N. :)

Good Morning, I have a decent stash of nic juice, have learned to mix my own, got some RTAs, spare mods, spare tanks, lots of coils and am now turning my attention to mechanical mods. I'm perfectly fine with Ohm's law and the appropriate calculations. Some questions:

Vaporider has a large selection and good prices. Is this site OK?

Some of the mech mods are "clones." Any problem with that?

I see there are 3-tube models. Is that to allow the use of 1 or more batteries?

Are they better with or without the center pins?

Magnetic firing buttons good/bad?

Anything else to be aware of?

Thanks for your input. I've been vaping for years but am relatively new here. This is a very open and friendly site!

I've got three orders coming from FT. Right now it's been about 16 days. I usually would have had my orders by now. For some reason, one went from Chicago to Detroit in order to get to Kansas City. No idea why. The other two haven't updated since they were processed through Chicago.

I'm still waiting on the top fill kit for my Kayfun 2019 atty. The atty and top fill kit were ordered at the same time from Fasttech. I've had the atomizer for weeks and the top fill kit is still showing "pending shipment". Go figure.

Vaporider is fine. They just moved their website/name though I think. I've bought from them a few times.

There are lots of sites that sell mech clones, because the real thing can be prohibitively expensive for many. You just have to make sure your particular "clone" you want is decent. Folks on here can help with that (you want the name of the clone manufacturer too) but like, sometimes it can be dicey deciding.

Yes, often the several tubes are for different sizes of battery.

Welcome! There are some protected mechanical mods that give you some safety. Can't think of the names off hand tho!

Ephro/Wismec makes one I forget what it's called. I have 2. I won one, and the kid who was still vamping at the time loved it so much I gifted it to him. Then I bought another setup for me because I loved it too.

It's nice. I wish I could remember the exact name. With that said, there are a ton of nice protected mechs. I don't really think they are mechs but they most definitely exist.

When the kid quit, he returned everything. Including an IJOY mod I never wanted to see again. They are almost worse than Smok in my opinion. I actually won TWO of them.

I should put it up for sale at negative 2 dollars, but like, you never know with this stocking up bit although yes it would be the LAST mod in my stash to be used, I think.

I found a tank I ordered takes mesh, so off to find some mesh! LOL I ordered it by mistake thinking it was a different tank. This crazy grab tanks mission I am on is giving me some surprises LOL
Well did some checking and Kylin M tank doesn't have very good reviews for the mesh and wicking, but the Kylin Mini has great reviews. I was after the mini but bought the M by mistake thinking M stood for mini, but it stands for mesh LOL

OK, I found the thread titled "A beginner's guide to your first mechanical mod." Seems that a 510 center pin is a good safety feature. Didn't know about the extended vs. non extended pins on the atomizer. Looks like some more research is needed before just buying something. The gory pictures worked! Thanks for the replies.

I finally bit the bullet and placed a Vaposourcing order for a mod nobody else had at a price I couldn't ignore. Two weeks later it's in Chicago, just cleared customs, and I didn't get any "sorry, out of stock" emails. Maybe all will be good, just this once. I really didn't need a three battery DNA mod but I'm in the buying for fun phase and always wanted it. Fingers crossed!
