Are you done stocking up?

Lesson learned. Only order stuff for stocking from them. If I need/want it faster then it's best to pay a little more and get it from a US vendor.

Everything I've been ordering lately has been for stocking (for myself and/or others), not for immediately needed stuff. So I'm in no rush for stuff. However, it's irritating when they send a shipment email that says it shipped on 12/19, when tracking clearly shows it was never even accepted for shipment until 12/31.

Just a heads up to anyone else who ordered the ECR heads from EleafUSA!

ECR Head (5pcs)

They were supposed to be 5 pieces for $10...so I ordered a quantity of 2, which should have been 10 heads/coils. I GOT just 2 single heads/coils!! They came in 2 individual boxes with some wire and cotton in each, along with 1 head.

I'm calling them as soon as they open for business in about 2 more hours. Will let you all who ordered them know what they tell me and what they're going to do about not getting what is still shown on their website...and on my receipt that was enclosed. Receipt shows: 255AF02100 ECR Head (5pcs) $10.00 x Quantity of 2 = $20.00
I ordered on the 28th.
My order tracking still says:
December 30, 2019 at 10:10 am
Shipping Label Created, USPS Awaiting Item
VALENCIA, CA 91355

Let us know what they say about the quantity issue... That same thing has happened to me more than once with other vendors the past few months.

I will...as soon as I get off the phone with them later. Others of you who ordered them may want to either save the website page as it is now (indicating 5 pieces for $10) and/or screenshot it, in case they change it after I call them. If you have your order confirmation email...it also shows (5pcs) beside ECR Head on it.

I bet they will argue they meant the coil comes in five different pieces as the diagram shows. :nah: Let us know.

I could swear that when I looked at the page, saw what they were and ordered some, and then posted about them on here....that in addition to the pic of the 1 head (shown now)...it also showed a long, fairly flat box of them (like their other Eleaf coils come in). That's also why I thought they'd come like the JoyeTech CLR coils do...5 per box. Now though, that box pic is no longer there. ;) I thought I'd saved the page when I ordered, as I usually do for most purchases, but I can't find it now.

ETA: Also, if the "5pcs" meant when it's taken apart it has 5 pieces...then this page showing ALL their coils for sale wouldn't show (3pcs), (5pcs), etc. after each one of them. If the ECR was really only a single RBA head...it should've shown (1pc) like the Lyche RBA head does. So, that's not gonna fly, if they try that explanation.

I’m going to begin the task of separating my mods and atties plus accessories like coils into a stash for future use.

I was curious as to how people are deciding what goes in the stash and what doesn’t. I mean all my stabwoods I use plus several dual and single battery mods I use often. Others I hardly use at all.

So do I put the cheaper gear in the stash with a few nicer devices too? Same with atties. I use almost all my atties.

And should I open every mod to see if it works? I kinda hate doing that especially if I end up selling any of them.

Thoughts would be helpful.

Initially I was planning on focusing on using up all of my junk, crappy, older product and saving the better stuff for later... But now I am thinking of saving the junk for later considering I will never get through all of the stuff I have and the junk could just be considered an emergency backup. But regardless of which way I go, I am focusing on using up all of my built-in battery mods first as they will be junk in 3-5 years or so whether I use them or not.

I run all new regulated mods through at least one full battery cycle, to make sure they work. While the vendor's warranty may still be in effect. Then rebox with all the parts for more convenient storage.

Spare RTAs are inspected, then into the stash.

Um, yeah, I, too, tend to use the "nicer" gear now (other than left over Spinners and such, don't have any built-ins, but would use them first until dead ;) ) No point leaving the good stuff for my heirs :)

I did not test any. :( I am living on the edge. lol

EDIT: Actually, I did test one of my Revenger X kits, so I could try out those .2ohm coils.

Same I've tested about 1/5th of what I've gotten mods wise. Tanks would be a lot lower than that. At this point I think I might as well leave them all wrapped up. They're out of the return period and I don't trust that these companies would actually warranty an item anyways.

The last year before the vaping “epidemic” issue brought me back to ECF and back again to stocking up, I had stopped using many mods at once like I had when I worked at a vape shop (until May 2018). Through til September 2019 I used four mods - my Geekvape mod lasted a year and died, so I pulled out the Therion DNA from the drawer and put it back into rotation with a couple other devices specifically for my MTL tanks. So, for me, I didn’t have that many being used at once as I had in the past.

So since stocking up again, the only mods I have bought for present-day use are the MVP3 (MTL), MVP5 (an indulgence), and the Topside 90w as I wanted to get back into the swing of squonking before eventually moving fully into mechanical squonks for DL (after my present-use mods die and, presumably, deeming pushes out easy access to new, regulated mods).

The vast majority of what I have bought since Sept 2019 has gone into the stash box. I haven’t checked them. I, too, am riding on the edge of the knife lol. But what I am not going to do is start bringing my stash into present-day rotation. I figure the first mods I will begin to work through will be the Lunas for squonking. When my Therion and MVPs finally die, I will move to the Squid DB for my Brunhilde or KF2019. Likely I will use a Jackaroo for Serpent Elevate or other RTAs.

I am not feeling 100% secure in regulated, high-wattage devices. Last night on the Shiny thread @AvaOrchid (I believe) mentioned Asmodus had a Lustro for $25 with free ship so I bought one. It was impulse but a good deal, IMO. Realistically l have no idea how long to expect these devices to last. I feel that in the end it will boil down to my REOs and I can only hope I bought enough replacement parts to make them last.

It's actually 6 pieces if you count the cotton, so they may argue it's a btter deal than advertised :D

OK...after 6 tries to get through to their CS on 2 different lines...I got a live person. Talked with "Joe" and explained the quantity problem about the ECR heads. Told him I'd found them on their website, placed my order, and then posted a link to them on the ECF for others who'd be interested, too. Said I knew others had definitely ordered them, too, and were also expecting to receive 5 coils/heads for each quantity of 1 that they ordered (like the JoyeTech CLR coils come).

He said it was definitely a mistake on their website, that it shows (5pcs) instead of (1pc), and that he'd see that it was "corrected" on their website. Said they're definitely individual heads like for the Lyche, and they come boxed singly with some wire and cotton.

I said that's good that they'll correct it on the website for future possible buyers. But... what about all of us who ordered them based on the 5pcs per quantity of 1, for $10, as shown when we placed our orders? He said we would be taken care of. He didn't specify how right then, but that he was going to check with someone else to find out how to handle it. Said he'd call me back before the end of the day. So, I'll wait for his call and then post again.

The ONLY reason why I bought them was because it was 5.
