Yay, my SS Vapefly Brunhilde MTL "car accessory" has arrived [emoji106] Time to decide on whether to use the 2.5mm insert or leave it wide open for restricted DL.

On Eightvape, I had orders 12/25 - 26 -27 - 28. The orders from 25 & 26 have been received, 28 is due Monday, only 27 hasn't shipped yet. The 28th was Freemax twister kit (mod + fireluke 2) plus a bunch of nx2 coils, the 27th was a fireluke 2 standalone tank and fewer packs of nx2 coils. They likely got slammed with orders (# increased 2800 from the 26th to 27th), fulfillment is taking some time.

If what I read here is right https://www.fda.gov/media/133880/download we MIGHT be ok ordering until the May 2020 cutoff BUT (Note the HUGE BUT) FDA is stating multiple times they can shut down anything that was brought to market after the deeming date (I believe 2016) anytime they like. And they will if in there judgement there is a problem. Seizing goods at customs is specifically mentioned as a possibility. This new doc goes into effect in 30 days.

I personally am calling it done for anything shipped from overseas right here and now as it often takes 30 days to get into country.

Within US orders for me will be a case by case and NOTHING will be ordered 30 days from now.

Read it for yourself. This is my interpretation of the gobbledy goop often contradictory language so take with as many grains of salt as you like.

Of course I hope he is right but I am afraid that is giving off a sense of security that could be dangerously false. I am a fan of both of those guys and I’m a little surprised that they would put this attitude out there for people to feel like the deeming isn’t a serious problem. Anyone is free to disagree, but considering so many people seem to just now be figuring out May 2020 is a “thing,” I’m a little shocked it would be downplayed so soon.

EightCig is their new wholesale only website. You need any 1 of 3-4 different pieces of documentation to provide to them...to actually place and pay for an order. You can still browse the site though and see the prices, by just registering.

I am reading the new comments in the Deeming thread. I still do not understand what on earth has been “decided.” None of this is clear to me.

On a very related note, I just bought my second $25 Asmodus Candy Green Lustro because I sure as heck don’t want to be left at the mercy of what *might* happen.

I don't disagree with you. But one thing I know is that Dmitri has tobacco lawyers he consults with for his business. So it's possible what he believes about PMTA is grounded in some reality. So it is, to me, hopeful when he has such opinions. But still a good idea to stock up, IMHO.

I've been wondering about this too. I had thought if they banned flavors maybe the FDA could tell the courts "Hey look we regulated e-cigs now get off our backs!

Greg Conley doesn't appear as optimistic.

Gregory Conley, president of the American Vaping Association, described the limited ban as a "partial victory" that will allow thousands of small businesses to remain open. He warned the short-term exemption will require federal action this year.

A federal court order requires all vaping products to file an authorization application by May 12 to continue marketing products. Companies that do not meet the deadline are subject to FDA enforcement action under the court order.

"We are now 130 days away from the exact class of vaping products President Trump exempted from his ban – open tank systems – being banned because of the sky high costs associated with Obama-era rules the FDA is retroactively enforcing on vaping companies," Conley said. "President Trump will get the blame if America's vape shops are forced to close their doors in May."

It seems to me it would be a no-brainer that Trump should do anything he could to reverse an Obama-era rule that would keep vaping voters happy. Conley is no dummy and he phrased it that way for a reason.

So, I put in a ticket 2 days ago about it (New Years Eve).

No way that I can see to check a ticket in the system under account. It's not really a true ticket system. Glorified contact form is all I can see. They don't even email you a ticket # and a link to check the ticket.

TBH, nothing in that order is anything I needed, just was nice to have for a low, low price. And if they aren't going to ship what is now showing out of stock, it's even less exciting.

Will wait to see what happens.

Yeah it’s weird that my orders are coming in out of order. It’s a good one too with 100 boxes of coils for a penny each, the exo whatever things, and a green vaporesso mod on the order made on the 24th.

He would need congress to reverse their ruling.
I predict states will be saying he didn't go far enough and will start their own bans like many already have.
