Not vape related but I've got a fun one for you guys. Got a pair of sweatpants and a hoodie on an Xmas sale, took them about 5 days to ship... everything going smoothly so far. Order sat for a couple days with no shipping activity, no big deal. Then today I go to check it and it says the address is changed and it's shipping to New Jersey, which is where it came from but a different town.

THEN I notice at the bottom of the page it says shipment 1 of 2. 2 of 2 is still shipping to me and expected to arrive next Wednesday.

I'm so confused. I have a call into their customer service department I'm just waiting on a call back.

Did anyone who got solos stock up on these? Replacement screen for Aegis Solo Geek Vape Online Store

I had picked up battery covers before because I was worried about the threading. They also sell buttons, I doubt those would go bad.

I picked up a couple of those and a couple battery covers in my spare parts order. Agree I'll probably never need them but they weren't expensive so I figured why not.

The extra battery cover doors I got I do however think I will end up needing.

Rest was mostly glass and o-rings. Placed 12/25, no movement yet.

I noticed the battery covers are "Pre-order" :/. I wonder how long it will be until they actually ship. I never tie my funds up with pre-orders.
When I ordered mine, I had to pre-order because I waited until they sold out... I think it took about 2 weeks, maybe a bit less for my order to get shipped.

I replaced buttons, skeletons, and screens on both of my aegis minis but haven't done any on the solo. It was very easy to do.
Would there be a reason for changing the buttons other than to change the color or because of paint flaking off? And did your screen break or something? Wondering if the screen would break, it's supposed to be shock resistant right?

EDIT: and the skeletons, that's just cosmetic right? no need to ever replace them?

I picked one of these up because I am looking for a sustainable sort of replacement for the Penguin. I love this the idea of this thing. A rebuildable, battery replaceable AIO/pod device. The reviews are very good on it. Loose MTL or DL device.

I saw a few reviews on it. Another Chinese BB ;). Be interested in how good the RBA is when you've had a chance to give a run.

As far as the screen goes, I have read numerous reviews that the biggest bummer of the Aegis line is that the screens scratch easily.

Skeletons seem to serve no purpose but for cosmetics and look tough to break under normal use.

But the fact that they sell buttons makes me wonder if they have a tendency to pop-out and get lost. That would suck. And you know that by the time that happens they will no longer have them

I hope under normal use, none of these things will be a problem.

I think the most important thing is the batt caps. Not only could you lose them but the handle could become loose and not stay in easily, making it annoying when you set it down.

Battery caps that require a coin or something similar are far superior to me. IF designed properly, you can usually use a key on your keychain if you don't have a coin handy.

I am more worried about the threading, mine seemed funky, I was worried they might strip over time... that is why I picked up more. I can get them off without using the lever, so I was not worried about that.

IMG_1313.JPG IMG_1311.JPG IMG_1310.JPG I did a rebuild in the Jackaroo coil with a vertical coil, works well :) At first I had too much cotton, but now works great. So these are definitely rebuildable, they are the Trident tank coils.

I just noticed that they have a little notch for a coin. That eliminates the need for the handle but the coin slit is a bit small and shallow. But at least you can save the handle from wearing out and popping out all the time.

Losing them is the biggest problem, and the threading to a degree. But since they are SS, I think the threading will be OK if used with care. My picos have SS battery caps and the threading is just fine on them. And the threading on those seems to be a lot finer than on the Aegis solo.
