Since I'm also going on a trip next week I decided to pick up some nic lozenges. Even the 2mg is a tad high test for me.

On the plus side I found a neat recipe for diy nicotine toothpicks (after ordering a set that won't arrive until I'm already flying, of course [emoji3]). I think I'll make a batch tomorrow.

Kangerwholesale sent me the wrong extender glass. o_O Already put in a CS request. This is exhausting. They’ve always been good to me though. Also got one of my 8vape orders with some coils. Also got my scratch pen set from Amazon which took way too long...must not have been a prime item. I’m running out of room. DIY stuff definitely has to be removed from my vape cabinet.

I saw a few reviews on it. Another Chinese BB ;). Be interested in how good the RBA is when you've had a chance to give a run.
WIll let folks know when it comes in. THat is what I was thinking. It reminds me of a much simplified BB sort of Idea. I really like the idea of this thing.

As far as the screen goes, I have read numerous reviews that the biggest bummer of the Aegis line is that the screens scratch easily.

Skeletons seem to serve no purpose but for cosmetics and look tough to break under normal use.

But the fact that they sell buttons makes me wonder if they have a tendency to pop-out and get lost. That would suck. And you know that by the time that happens they will no longer have them

I hope under normal use, none of these things will be a problem.

I think the most important thing is the batt caps. Not only could you lose them but the handle could become loose and not stay in easily, making it annoying when you set it down.

Battery caps that require a coin or something similar are far superior to me. IF designed properly, you can usually use a key on your keychain if you don't have a coin handy.
If my battery cap handle loosens up, or the magnets fall out I'll probably just reengineer it with a dremel and JB Weld. Losing it, and the threads wearing out would require replacement though.

Edit: There is no magnet in the battery cap on the Solo. I was thinking of the Asmodus Luna.

What's the recipe for nicotine toothpicks? Sounds useful.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I also signed up for PayPal in order to get my Innokin Christmas prize package and filled out all required info including sending a pic of my ID with the number covered. Probably the only vaper to not have paypal. o_O But I do now!

Now that you have Paypal account, just think of all the vape stuff you can stock up on from Chinese sites :D

I had no idea there was a magnet in there.

Anyone else pickup a Tarot Baby from the EightVape sale?

Loving this little thing but I have some questions. First... I've been charging it off of my home laptop when I get home and hadn't noticed any issues, using the cord it came with. I just charged it off of my work laptop with the cord from my Breeze 2 and the Tarot Baby got HOT. Like almost ready to throw it out the back door and let it vent hot. My computer actually gave me an error saying the USB was drawing too much power. None of this happened with the cord it came with at home. For a test I charged the Breeze 2 to full with this same cable, didn't even get warm.

Cord shouldn't make that much of a difference right? I'm thinking the difference is the laptop.

Then there's the options. I get the S-N-H part. What I'm really curious about is the skull labeled SP. What is this option? It makes the screen look cool so I want to use it but then again it's a skull and I don't know why so I haven't tried it yet.

Yes I tried watching videos but they didn't answer either of these questions.

    From SetNicFree on reddit:

    200 TOOTHPICKS [6 cm long]

    100 ML ALCOHOL [food grade]

    2.5 TSP MENTHOL CRYSTALS

1/2 TSP SPEARMINT OIL OR 1/3 TSP CINNAMON OIL

    20 ML NICOTINE SOLUTION [60 mg/ml strength]

    Mix menthol crystals until dissolved.

Submerge toothpicks (in glass dish) for 12-24 hours.

Spread the sticks with the liquid on a plate to dry.

    INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Moisten and place near cheek gums. Chew lightly, enjoy, and return to cheek.

Nicotine is absorbed via the gums, not the stomach, so maximum contact with gums is recommended.

For improved nicotine absorption, sprinkle some baking soda on the toothpicks to increase their PH. Wood is slightly acidic, which can impede nicotine absorption.

    .......
For me, I'll use some standard liquid menthol, food spearmint flavoring, cut the nicotine to about 500 total mg, and a bit of 100 proof vodka. Reportedly the recipe above resulted in a toothpick that seemed to feel roughly like a full regular cigarette worth, though slower absorption.

SP = Super Player mode. It extends the allowed resistance range to 0.03 - 5 ohms.

I always charge using dedicated USB wall warts (& a high output cig lighter adapter in my car), with good USB cables. The TB board supports 2A charging, no surprise if there are issues with a standard PC port or a possibly less good cable.

I used my TB this afternoon all the way to the no firing, need to recharge, point. It's charging now, quickly, warm but by no means hot.

Thanks. I just threw a pair of 2.4A rated micro USB 6.5 ft cables into my Amazon cart. I'll use only wall outlets from now on. I'll keep you all posted.

So the SP mode though... that's it? It just allows the higher range? If that's the case I'm going to vape on SP mode simply on the strength that it looks really cool on the screen.

I am more worried about the threading, mine seemed funky, I was worried they might strip over time... that is why I picked up more. I can get them off without using the lever, so I was not worried about that.

I had three Solos with funky threading on the cap. Using a magnifier the problem was metal not cleanly removed from the female threads on the mod. I found tiny metal shavings on the top of the battery and the inside of the battery tube on a couple after I had used them. One of them stopped turning completely before it got all the way in.

I took the battery out and removed the gasket, then screwed them in and out for a while. The one that stopped turning I could actually see the bit of metal that was stopping it. I managed to force the cap past it and it came loose so I could pick it out. Eventually they all got smoothed out. Now they're fine.

Thanks I wanted to watch this one earlier but didn't have the time. Much more informative than the 6-7 minute ones that I was checking out.

Now I want to buy another one... and I JUST got vape mail today, it's in my car not even opened yet.

New thread needed: Can't stop stocking support group.
