I decided to cancel my FT order and order some more nic base from heartland instead. I need nic more than I need anything else.

Well, I probably don't need nic either, but it's the thing I feel most anxious about making sure I have enough of at this point.

What's the continuous amp draw of an average 18650 flashlight?
(I don't own one, sorry if that's a silly question).
I think it depends greatly on the flashlight. One that puts out 1200 lumens is likely to need more than one that only puts out 300. But it's not a lot compared to how some people vape. You'd probably be hard pressed to find a flashlight that uses a single 18650 and has a single LED in it that pulls much more than 5A.

I decided to place a small order at mt baker vapor for clearance items they have left.

I was shocked that they don't have an age verification system yet. All the well-known USA vape suppliers seem to have it at this point.

I'm glad they don't, just thought it was odd.

Mine came today. Have you checked your account there? After my order confirmation Monday I didn’t get any other emails.

They show it shipped. But when I check the tracking number, the USPS gives me this message:

Status Not Available
The tracking number may be incorrect or the status update is not yet available. Please verify your tracking number and try again later.

Hopefully, they just don't have it in the system yet. I would hate to think it's lost, since MBV is probably sold out of the things I ordered.

Useful information. The term is parasitic drain.

Also called idle current. Most regulated mods have SOME idle current, waiting for a button press. Some draw more than others. But leaving a battery in a stashed mod isn't really good practice :)

Edit to my post: that’s a Sigelei Chronus NOT Charon. Can I blame autocorrect for this?

I had to give you an agree on this, 'cause there's no emoji for "Sure you can blame otto" :)

On occasion during big, blowout sales I’ve had it happen initially. I think with the sheer volume of packages they’re picking up, usps either misses some or just skips the login. It wouldn’t show up until it was tracked at my local PO. What goodies did you order? Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Hopefully, that's what happened. It's not that I ordered anything all that earth shattering, I just hate paying for something that never gets here. If it does get here, it sounds like from RJ's post that I'm going to get enough wicking material to last a couple lifetimes. :D I ordered 10 of those 10 packs! I also ordered 26650 batteries. They usually cost $7 or more apiece, but MBV had them at $1.30 each and Mooch gave them good ratings, so that was what I was really waiting for.

Mine said that, too. It was because they'd shipped it via FedEx instead of USPS! I ordered a bunch of stuff in my first order, and it weighed 13.5lbs. Guess FedEx worked out cheaper for them, so they sent it that way.

Would you happen to know if "parasitic drain" or "idle current" can occur if you turn the mod off?

That's a thought. I clicked on the tracking link from within my account at their site and it went to the USPS tracking page, so I just assumed that's how they shipped it. But I do have batteries in my order, so maybe they just posted the link wrong?

You can tell a Fedex from a USPS # by the # of digits. I think domestic USPS tracking #s are well over 15 digits and usually start with a "9" while Fedex is around 15 digits or so.

Regardless...

If you put your tracking # into google, it will give you options and links on where to track it judging from the tracking prefix, # of digits, etc.

One thing is for sure, if it doesn't start with "1Z", it isn't UPS lol I think they also started using "1W" now, or something like that.

You're a genius, JC! I just went to the Fedex tracking site and pasted in the number, and it's there! Yay! But not to be delivered until Monday. :(

Just shows how smart "We" were, especially to hold on to the GOOD "STUFF" . . . :D

Have a few original ZMax's (before they were sold to the public) and even a GLV from back in the day too . . .

Now if I could only get the "Bolt" to work again . . .

Here's a few tips on FedEx and UPS packages (and USPS if they have the service in your area).

1. If you sign up for a free account on both UPS and FedEx, using your real name and address and email address, whenever a package is shipped to your name and address on file, you'll get an email that there's a package on it's way to you with the tracking #. However I fond sometimes I don't always get these emails.

2. If a delivery day or week doesn't work out for you but you want it delivered and not have to deal with packages being left at your doorstep, you can request the package be delivered to either your local Fedex or UPS distribution center for pickup (not a great option as they have very limited customer counter hours) or opt to have it deliver to a UPS Access Point or FedEx OnSite point, all for free.

These UPS Access Point/FedEx OnSite locations are retail stores that agree to take packages and hold them for you for pickup free of charge.

For instance, for me, my UPS access point is my local Michael's store.

For Fedex, it's my local Walgreens.

You can pickup your packages anytime during their hours of operation. So that's more convenient than using the FedEx or UPS customer counter at their distribution centers. For instance, my local UPS customer counter opens at 3PM and closes at 6PM. lol.

You set this up very easily in your online FedEx/UPS account right on the tracking page while you're logged in.

Caution: Don't choose a UPS Store as your pickup location. Most will charge you for the service even for UPS packages. They are a franchise and not a free UPS Access Point. They reserve the right to charge for the hold/pickup. At my local UPS store, it's $7. Screw that.

Hmmm...

Are you by chance talking about one of these?

Up/down buttons on each side. Fire button on back.
Telescopic - takes 18650/18350 and just about anything in between I guess.

Is this what you have?
