I believe so. I only run above 1.2 ohm coils on my provaris so I am not really up on which are what model. Sounds silly I know but for me the beauty of a provari is it is what I call a brain dead vape. It just WORKS without fiddling. Reliably.

Yeah, it's a 2.5. You can run 1.0.on them, but.only 3.4 volts or less. Not much range (at 1.0) due to the 3.5 amp limit.

I have bought all my wants so not really tempted to buy much else unless it is super cheap LOL I am enjoying the little Pal 2, that was bought just because it was cheap. Super cute little vape. But I still like the Podin better :) I have so much to vape I'm set for life!

You know unicorns arent real right?
They are for vape collectors. I remember chasing after a Sweet Medicine Ihybrid back in the day. Took me a long time but I snagged that unicorn.

I have the same box here. This is the right rayon. :thumb: It will be about the size of a box of Puffs tissues, so you don't have some monster sized box to find a home for. :)
Good to know I bought the right kind. I just need to figure out why I can taste it. It vapes great though. I think I’m in the minority and prefer cotton over rayon.

If I buy anything else it will be drop in coils for my newer devices. But I’ve bought so much and I’m so busy lately I don’t even know what those devices are that need coils. Probably my new target pm80 pod needs backup coils. I don’t plan on buying enough coils for life except for my atlantis and I already have enough of those. Just enough to use for a while. I mean that’s unrealistic to buy enough for life for every tank for me. I guess it’s inventory time soon. I have no spare orings or spare glass either except what came with the tanks and really don’t want to get any. This is exhausting considering I started stocking this past September. And expensive.

I think my 5+ year old innokin coolfire iv is giving up the ghost. It’s just not hitting as hard. And since it’s a built-in battery mod, it’s probably time to retire it anyway. I’ve been vaping on this thing daily and all day and for 5 years exclusively.

I remember chasing one of the first ohm meters you could screw your atty into for months back in the day. People were snapping them up so quick they were instantly sold out. What a brilliant gadget though so much more idiot proof than a multimeter. :)

I usually notice a different flavor when the wick is first installed and may not be as saturated as it could be. The flavor is usually fine after I've vaped a bit with it. I have noticed that my juices taste different with the Rayon in a mini berserker than they do with a factory (cotton) coil in a Nauti X. You could be using something that just tastes better with a cotton wick. I have a couple of flavors that require the Rayon, and a couple that must go in a Nauti X.

@markfm thought you and others here might be interested in this... 7ml tank and it has a GT core adapter for between $3 and $3.15 depending on the color: Vaporesso Cascade Sub-Ohm Tank | Mt Baker Vapor

I grabbed 4, 2 of the black and 2 of the silver. The shipping was only like around $4-ish.

(You need to choose the color to see the discounted price, otherwise it just shows the regular price)

I didn't realize that. Maybe the trick is to boil them before use.

What is in the soil is generally inside the crop, not on it. It’s systemic. Plants don’t all absorb just anything through their roots though, some are more subtle susceptible to certain things than others.

I’m not familiar with cotton, so I can’t give any facts on it, but as other plants have grown in that field, rain has washed some chemicals away, and time has degraded what chemicals remain, I would imagine the amount of toxin absorbed would be minimal by now.

Regardless, boiling will do nothing, I bet.

Is this the right kind of rayon? All the different numbers I see around here for the same thing are confusing...maybe I bought the wrong kind. It says 100% rayon fibers.

So I tried the unicorn hair wicks and they fit just fine in my 3 mm coils. No bad taste.
    That's what I have. :)

The only extra glass I bought was to use on the Cerberus so I can put an rba in it. I have a couple bags of orings I bought several years ago for the Merlin tanks. I’m not stocking up on that stuff either since I don’t want to. I’ve only ever broken one glass in ten years. I haven’t needed one yet but did buy some top caps for my Zeus single coil tanks which are my favorite. I’ve been using those since they were first released and haven’t had to change an o ring or anything.

I just had a uh oh moment. In the “frenzy” of completing my stockpile of vape gear (and going way overboard) I realized that if there is that ONE (or two in my case, maybe more) device that I’ve dreamed of getting then if I don’t buy it by May then I may never ever get that piece of vape gear. What a horrible idea.

For me it was obvious that I needed to purchase enough mods and attys to last several decades with backup. And I feel like I’ve got PLENTY of decent mid level hardware that I was able to mostly purchase at incredible prices during the holiday flash sales.

So I’m completely and fully stockpiled with plenty overlap to be able to PIF to newcomers or others who may be in a tough financial situation. And that feels good.

For those of you who know me then you know I’m a bit of a stabwood collector but stabwoods are priced or bought to go into the Stash.

So I find myself wondering if I should stretch myself a bit for the moment and purchase that such n such gorgeous stabwood mod or not.

I asked Phil at Stabwood UK and he’s not sure how the Deemings will effect them. He didn’t even seem to know much about it and was asking me about it which surprised me. I dunno maybe the US doesn’t make up a large portion of their sales. I know I singlehandedly kept them in business the last 2 years lol!! You’re welcome U.K.!

Was curious as to how others are approaching this conundrum. If you’re comfortably fully stockpiled but you’ve been drooling over a mid to high end device will you wait and see what happens or decide to get the Shiny before May.

I dunno about anyone else but I’ve spent a pretty penny even buying items at huge discounts so I’m sure many of us aren’t flowing with cash right now (thank u jeezus for credit cards!).

Keep in mind that for me vaping is not just an alternative to smoking cigarettes but has become a hobby and as I said I’ve become a collector as well.

For those of you in a similar place as myself (I know you’re out there!) how will you be handling this situation?

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

I’m of a very similar mindset. I have what I need. And some stuff to PIF. But I have also had a lot of fun finding new goodies, hunting down interesting things, and rounding out my collection.

I’m going to miss the hunt. There are a couple things that I will kick myself forever about if I don’t get one and I’m not going to wait and see. If I can find them, I’m grabbing them. I keep thinking I should try to get them on sale... but what if they’re gone and no sale happens? I got lucky with that Armageddon sale, and the Florida Vapor stuff. I was tempted by the SqEvo but I think I’ll pass. I do think I have to have another VA or two though.

It’s so sad though. End of an era.

That's incredible!! (of course now that you have said that....)

I've broken glass twice so far this year.. It's one of the things I was most worried about stocking enough of (as I am set in all other areas). I have based my glass on dropping them at least 1x/year for the next 20 years... figuring I will have some good years in there to get me beyond 20, but have been considering buying more because glass is so cheap.

My biggest issue is putting my mod on my lap while driving or sitting on the couch... Then forgetting about it and standing up.

I've never broken a glass. Even with dropping my original protank on a concrete driveway more than once without a vape band. Small scratch on the metal of the tank and another on the provari it was sitting on. Both still work just fine to this day.

By the couch I keep a penguin. No glass at all. My problem is falling asleep with them so I end up hunting it down in the couch cushions.

I can’t recall ever breaking glass on a tank. Which is why I didn’t stock them. And I have so many tanks with extra glass in their boxes with multiple tanks in my stash that I just don’t feel the need. I’ve also never changed an oring.

Wow. Five years of daily use from a built-in batter mod? I'd say it doesn't owe you anything.

Now if it were me, and I really liked that mod, I'd take it apart to see what the battery looks like, and then see if there isn't one at a place like Hobby King that can go in its place.
