I have several of the 20mm Berserker MTL tanks and had leaking problems, similar to others, until I noticed an oring in the base that wasn't seating properly and since getting that right, no leaks. So if you have one of these and had leak problems the oring may be the issue.

Looking at the picks on that Berserker, it looks like it probably has a pretty tight MTL draw. Am I right?

I really like the look of that rta and the deck design but I hate a tight MTL draw.

FT still sells an RBA that fits that tank . But at back in the day (2015-ish) when it was a new product, it was a hit or miss whether you'd get that had properly aligned wick holes on the chamber (if you look at the pics on FT, you'll see what I mean - the one in the pics has misaligned wick holes lol). Not sure if they're any better today.

I'm surprised it's still available, but it of does fit a lot of tanks so that's probably why.

There's also a 5-pack, and yes the wick holes are misaligned in the pic on that one too lol.
Thanks! I bought that five pack of rebuildable coils of what jc found. Remember the drama of them sending only one rba when it was supposed to be 5 And they made it right? I haven’t had a chance to try one though.

Does anybody know the difference between cotton bacon, cotton bacon version 2, and cotton bacon prime? I think I have that right.
Nvm...I found this about the prime.

This new version wicks 33% faster than the previous version of Cotton Bacon.

That is cheap. You think it will do the job[/QUOTE]

I just checked a few of my attys, the AN8008 is showing roughly .1 or .2 above what the mods measure them at.

A little tip, whatever meter you get, clean the tips of the leads with alchohol.

I usually notice a different flavor when the wick is first installed and may not be as saturated as it could be. The flavor is usually fine after I've vaped a bit with it. I have noticed that my juices taste different with the Rayon in a mini berserker than they do with a factory (cotton) coil in a Nauti X. You could be using something that just tastes better with a cotton wick. I have a couple of flavors that require the Rayon, and a couple that must go in a Nauti X.
I can still taste the rayon after several tanks of juice. But you have a good point and made me think about it. Maybe my max vg juices (90-95% vg) just don’t taste very good with rayon. Hmmmm.

I don’t need it very accurate just enough to test my own drippers and see if it works to any degree. If the reading is wrong but relative then I know this atty is fine

If you live in the USA and if you're meter is in fact not working and if money is tight, Harbor Freight sells an inexpensive multimeter that may be fine for your purposes. You'll be able to check resistance and continuity with them, however I'm not sure how low ohms they'll read. But they work fine for 1.0+ ohm builds. And of course you can check other things with it like AC & DC voltage, amps, etc. Probably not accurate as heck, but for your purposes it should be fine.

I have a few of them because they used to give them away for free, but those days are gone.

That's an item they usually have stock in the brick and mortar stores so no need to buy online and pay for shipping.

Yeah that’s what I have been doing. Doesn’t work then :(

so I hear you got a spare one?

At work I have two fluke 87 V multimeters, two current clamps, fluke digital meg ohm meter, scope meter, and a few other things. At home I have one 87 V, and two cheaper fluke meters. If you just want to check atty resistance, I’d just get a coil master for around $20.

The problem with a standard meter like that is you're likely trying to test something anywhere from 1.x to 0.x ohms, that's really kind of at that meter's limits.

I ended up buying the 2 ohm full scale version of this:
Digital dc milliohm meter 20Ω/200Ω/2Ω 2ohm resistance tester + Kelvin test clip | eBay

To make it a complete unit I also picked up some single 18650 battery sleds, a little project box, a pushbutton on/off switch, and a couple of different low ohm 1% resistors. It's a Kelvin bridge circuit, the right thing for low resistance measurements, and comes with the test clips shown in the photo,

If anyone else picks this up, I have extras of the 1% resistors (just to check it), on/off switch, and the single 18650 battery sleds (the power for the meter).

I also recently ordered a CoilMaster 521 mini v2 tab.

I have used Vs2 and prime. Not much difference at all that I can tell. I think the prime fluffs a little better but you can achieve the same with Vs2 it just takes more fluffing.

Thanks for your suggestions. I will order one of the recommendations this evening

I will try the AN8008 first of all. .2 out is no issue and seems the cheapest way to get the job done.
If I was broke I wouldn’t be looking at vaping gear at all, even the cotton
but certainly not enough to justify $2/300+ on a meter to test only one atty. Never vape hybrids and other than this I have no desire to.
The heron is brilliant though (for my tastes) and I have to at least vape on it once.
Can no longer get the 510 and the hybrid does look good

My brother is still vaping on his 5 year old iStick 40 with an N mini on top. I've told him, when the battery is toast he should be able to get it replaced at an electronics or cell phone repair place so don't throw it away. This isn't worth trying if or until it really is impossible to get new product and even though I've got a substantial stash I'm still a little bit skeptical an effective shut down is really going to happen. It's encouraging that several state legislatures have pulled back from a flavor ban to protect menthol cigarettes and the Trump administration would like to get tobacco out of the FDA.

I have several of the 22mm MTL Berserker tanks and had leaking problems, similar to others, until I noticed an oring in the base that wasn't seating properly and since getting that right, no leaks.

It's an MTL tank, not DL. I was attracted because it's MTL and because a stainess tank body is included. I avoided tanks because I don't like glass.

What is in the soil is generally inside the crop, not on it. It’s systemic. Plants don’t all absorb just anything through their roots though, some are more subtle susceptible to certain things than others.

I’m not familiar with cotton, so I can’t give any facts on it, but as other plants have grown in that field, rain has washed some chemicals away, and time has degraded what chemicals remain, I would imagine the amount of toxin absorbed would be minimal by now.

Regardless, boiling will do nothing, I bet.
Cotton is a crop that is sprayed with pesticides and defoliant. As a spinner it is advised to never spin raw cotton right out of the field. Pima cotton is grown in my area. So stick with organic cotton for vaping, regular cotton is not healthy, must be processed to remove the nasty stuff. Cotton and Pesticides
