I'm pretty sure that I have never seen any 1.1 cu ft freezer have anything but a swing front door. But, I imagine a mini-freezer is better than not having one at all.

FYI: During "My" Search for a Mini-Freezer if I remember correctly the smallest "Top" loading was approximately 3 cubic . . . There was 1 that was 2.5, jusrt can't remember where . . . However, for "My" purposes the Mini-freezer size was most important, especially given where I was going to place it first . . . My mistake was not keeping in mind the "Swing" distance that was NEEDED to get it into the space and not knowing how to change the swing of the door (opens left to right and I wanted it open right to left - YES, I checked google, didn't help) . . . :-x That's why it now sit's in the bedroom closet instead of the kitchen pantry . . .

ANYWAY - The point is, I suggest you take measurements - very well and even double / triple check - where you plan to put the mini-freezer first . . . Then do a search for the mini-freezer you need . . . Oh and BTW: Make sure it is a Mini-Freezer and NOT A Mini Refig/Freezer . . . SO BEEN THERE - DONE THAT  . . . Just Sayin' . . .

As you probably know, you can get a Bolt for under 6 bucks.

No I didn't . . . Where ?

But - Even if I did get one, honestly it just wouldn't be the same, this one has a special meaning to "Me" . . . :(

The same goes for "My" first Rainbow mod I lost . . .

Just Sayin' . . .

Very interesting. Thank you. i was just thinking yesterday that the batteries we use might somehow be deemed a tobacco product by the FDA or otherwise become nearly impossible to get, and lamenting that it was pointless to stock up on batteries as on nic and hardware because they'd just be dead after sitting unused for some years anyway.

Now it seems that may not be the case...???

Is it time for a large order with 18650batterystore.com???

I quit vaping 7 years ago once I kicked nicotine. In this boring time we're living through I've started a vape again (at 0 nic). Pulling out my 8-year old and older AWs I was surprised to see they worked pretty well. In fact, very nearly as well as the ones I recently began to buy. Somewhat of relief since buying new button tops for my old Provaris has become pretty difficult. There is some possibility that the new ones I'm buying have been in storage for some time but I'd be very surprised if they've been in a warehouse somewhere for eight years or more.

Oh and BTW: Make sure it is a Mini-Freezer and NOT A Mini Refig/Freezer

I almost made that mistake about a month ago. Was at walmart and saw what I thought was a freezer. The way they marketed it on the box I thought it was. As I went to put my hands on the box I saw a small picture that revealed it was actually a refrigerator with a little rinky-dink freezer section inside. I would have been not-too-happy if I brought it home and found out the hard way.

It is easy to do. When I was searching online, I would get excited about a really good deal on one. Then I would notice it was mini fridge/freezer combo.

I got a front opener a couple years ago and honestly I like it. Room for my nic (about half of the space and room for food on the shelves above. I only put stuff in it that I won't need to get into often (high traffic stuff goes in the freezer that is part of the fridge). I don't have to open it often so I just don't sweat loosing the cold from it when I do open it. Mine is slightly larger I think in 3 cubic foot range. It being a front opener means the hubby can get in to it if necessary (he is in a wheelchair).

Edit: Same thing goes for the front loading washer and dryer. Hubby can manage them from his chair. The slight cost in electricity from cold loss means nothing when compared to his independence in my book.

The chest freezer vs upright freezer debate doesn't really apply in this context.

The slight cost in electricity from cold loss means nothing when compared to his independence in my book.

Exactly, and I doubt the cost/energy loss is even quantifiable unless you are opening the door many times a day which won't be the case if used for nic only/vapocalypse prepping.

Thank You - for the info & links . . . AND - Although a very generous @markfm already PIF one to "Me" , they are not the same as the original "Bolt" I have and linked to previously (but still good and very usable) . . . Oh Well, again THANKS and it was very helpful, especially since someone else might like to get one . . .

Sorry, I meant to post the link but got interrupted while typing.

No Problem, I was just curious . . . It's the bigger brother to the one I have and if I had the room I probably would have gotten that one or similar . . . Thanks . . .

    Nope - It wasn't a tank I lost . . . The mod I lost was an original eGo style . . .

Politely disagree. You don't have to be clueless to have it happen to you. Just ask @Baditude. He most certainly is not clueless.
Yeah, when I first began vaping 8 years ago I was using a mech whose battery exploded. It didn't have a locking fire button, and the fire button was rather prominent. Put the mod in my pocket and the fire button got compressed continuously and the battery went into thermal runaway. I had little knowledge about batteries at the time and wasn't aware they could explode.

I don't use mechs any longer. Not really biased about mechs, just not for me. My regulated mods are arguably safer with the time out safety fire feature, and I think they give me a better vape because I can control the power output to suit my taste on the fly.
