¯\_(ツ)_/¯
$24.99 at wetvapes for a pulse 80.
I added a $4.99 pack of cotton laces to reach $29.98 and got free shipping.

The 80 can be fw upgraded easily, and if I want to run 21700 it takes about 1 minute with a dremel to slightly open the oval cutout where you can push the battery out.

You mean after you dremmel it the 21700 will fit even though it's longer than an 18650 by roughly 5mm?

I haven't heard of taking a Dremmel to a mod since 2009.:danger:
I'm used to that. I pick up pretty cheap mech squonkers, rebuild with good modmaker 510 connectors and copper plate contacts. Often a bit of dremeling involved, to get the right fit for the connector and smooth out things on the contacts.

Now I know the vapocalypse has arrived. We're modding our own equipment. Should I start saving Altoids tins?

For you young 'uns who didn't get the reference.....

I never made one from an altoid box but made some 14500 box mods from plastic enclosures back in the day.

I had one of those. I didn't make it, though. I bought it off the classies. A good mod. Did you ever sell yours? Maybe I bought mine from you?

In my case, it's actually a case of making modern equipment work on old tech. 20 seconds with a dremmel...done! I like old tech.

I haven't bothered modding my first p80 yet, since I have a batch of 20700 batteries that work nicely. I already had my X, and put the 80 in storage, before I ran across the mod.

I'll likely open the new 80 just to upgrade firmware, then back in the box.

It looks like deeming is getting real. See @Katya 's last post here: Deeming Regulations have been released!!!!

"...there will be no sell-through period allowed for non-compliant products after September 9, 2020. In other words, if a product SKU is not covered by a PMTA that has been accepted for review by the FDA, or if a manufacturer has simply failed to file any PMTA, those products cannot continue to be legally sold after September 9, 2020..."

US vendors would be at-risk if they don't make sure there's an accepted PMTA for anything they sell as of 9/10. FDA isn't aiming at street retailers as their highest priority, but there's a tough call on trying to sell anything after the deadline...

I didn’t sell in the classified section but sold a few to friends at the time.
