Thank you! Now to figure out what build to buy!

That, I probably Can't Help you with.

Because Most of the Stuff I use is Old. And it would be Hard to Find. If at all. What I would do is Create a New Thread with a Title something like...

"1st Time rta Buyer looking for Suggestions."

Then explain what type of Vaper you are. And what you like. MTL of DL. Flavor Chaser (usually more of a Single Coil) vs Clouds (Dual Coil). Stuff like that.

I'm sure you will get Many Suggestions.

Ew. What about leaking?

Trust Me. They Don't Suck Black Crud back into the Bottle.

But Yes, they Can Leak. If I lay the Squonk Mod I'm using right now on its side, the RDA is gunna Leak.

That why I use an RTA when I'm Out n' About. And a Squonk Mod with an RDA when I'm at home.

I think it would be the smart thing to do to buy a set up but I have no idea where to start or if I would want an RTA

Read this post I made and see if it fits you.

Problem is, no one seems to know when USPS ban will go into effect. Could be 2 weeks from now or 5 seeks from now. Not a whole lot of time to make an informed decision. Fedex has already thrown in the towel and UPS will do so in about 2 weeks.

If you have enough hardware and coil heads to last you for as long as you want to vape, then you just need to focus on figuring how much nicotine base you need and finding it at the best price where it's in stock. This blog post may help.

I have enough of NOTHING. I ordered enough nic for a couple of years & have maybe a year in my freezer. I need mods, batteries, charger, tank, coils. Pretty much everything. Trying to put it all together & ordered this weekend.

Well I guess I'm done stocking up now. My last package arrived today. A battery analyzer from Asmodus. I just started playing with it, with no help at all from the instructions which are a few lines of unhelpful notes on a small folding card.

It was my first package with sig required. Guess that's a consequence of the new mailing regs, glad I don't have to do any more of that.

The squonkers only leak if you over squonk them. I only squeeze when the wicking begins to taste dry. There is a small return of excess juice into the bottle, but I have never noticed a change in flavor.
Sorry! I read your post earlier really quickly I read it incorrectly. So, what are the downsides to squonking? Can you recommend a basic set up?

One RDA that I use is the Hellvape Dead Rabbit. FT has both authentic and clones. As far as squonker, my model, the Smoant Battlestar, is no longer available. It has been pointed out that with squonking, the bottles can wear out. I've yet to have that happen. You usually get one spare with the kit, but it's prudent to buy more.

Here is what happens to me. Same juice, but the squonker turns dark in the bottle and the flavor goes downhill. If you rebuild every other day, it might be ok.

They suck back the crud from the RDA back into your squonk bottle and ruins the flavor.
as apposed to tanks where the crud is sitting in the tank :p

squonking obviously isn't for everyone...to each their own.... not really any downsides (other than price tags, especially for me because I need dual battery mods) but it is a learning curve and even to date I am notorious for over squonking and flooding my atty and juice running down the side of my mod

the only downside I guess is finding an atty that works for you, but the same can be said with any set up....
I tried tank after tank after tank when I first started and just had no luck, either leaking or no flavor....dripping was the way for me....granted tanks have come a long way then what they were but still same issues if it's not leaking, there's condensation between the atty and the mod and flavor is diluted.
It wasn't until I got the profile rda that I finally found what works for me

though my set up is not traditional at all but it's what works for me
aegis legend with cthulhu squonk genius adapter and profile rda with mesh strip
I've bought several squonk mods since then but still prefer my setup...it's hard to beat the waterproof/shockproof/dustproof of the aegis and the 7ml of the cthulhu

I guess it depends on what kind of juice you have. A premix with a lot of sweeteners, perhaps. I DIY my own juice with 10% or less flavor, and I don't have a problem. I dont rebuild or even renwick that often. Also, I dont "oversquonk" so there's not that much juice that goes back into the bottle.

Did it analyze your batteries correctly? I looked at that, how does it work?

If you have usps informed delivery, you can sign electronically. I did on a mod I ordered that required signature.

Some tanks the chamber really gets very hot and turns some juices very dark (cooking the juice) in the tank and they taste terrible. Some tanks this doesn't happen at all with the same juice. But then again they don't get very warm either.

    Yes both helps a lot.

I wonder if that works for 21+adult signature service since it requires the postal worker to actually make sure you are the recipient and that you are 21+?
We don't yet have informed delivery in my area so I can't say myself.
