If anyone is interested I got an email from KanVape of a sale; 30% entire store APRIL30 and clearance 60% with CLEARANCE 60 with FREE SHIPPING over $15 (I didn't expect to see that). I didn't spend a lot of time looking around but it looks like nautilus and bvc coils may still be in stock. My experience has been fast shipping.

Doesn't seem like Much of a Choice to Me.

Because getting ahold of Nicotine is becoming Difficult. So Canceling your Order isn't all that much of a Choice to Many/Most.

The there is the "Choice" of Paying More for something that was Already Paid for.

Gee... Call me Old School. But Why should I have to Pay More for Something when I Didn't Change My Order? If they Took My Money and agreed to the Sale, why shouldn't They Not have to Live Up to their end of the Deal?

Isn't that what a Contract Is? And Isn't that what Buyers/Sellers are Entering into when We Buy Something from a Seller.
Selling something at one price and later charging more is bait and switch.

But NN isn't profiting on shipping. Their price on the product is the same. I've had sellers adjust the shipping costs after purchase. It's usually not much so it's barely noticable.

NN could've increased their $ during the final buying frenzy but gave discounts instead. I don't see that as treacherous when they can still ship out orders in progress after new orders have been cut off. Anyone strapped for cash this last month of stocking up will feel it later.

I'm thinking of maybe getting a few more RTAs from Sourcemore. Anyone know if they are doing adult signature yet or PACT reporting?
I just went to checkout and shipping $ appears the same as last month - so I doubt if their complying with PACT. I will say their shipping was fast; ordered 3/26 and in my box by 3/31 USPS. Lucky 1st order? Today is the last day for the easter 10% code.

I Don't think NN is trying to Add profits by any of this. I Think they Made a Mistake by taking more Orders than they could get out. I just Don't like it when a Seller makes a Mistake, and then turns around and Passes the Cost off on the Consumer because of it.

If Nicotine was Readily Available and if everything was Business as Usual, I wouldn't have even Posted anything about it. But Face It, were Kinda at the End of the Green Mile here.

Let's wait and See exactly what NN Does. Maybe after some thought they will just Complete Orders as Ordered. And there Won't be any Extra Costs tacked on.

I can’t remember who I was talking to on this thread about the Vertex mtl rtas but mine came in the mail today. Besides the deck screws being super small, I’m really liking it.
Probably Ava, but I also chimed in. I checked DJLSB's review, ordered one from Healthcabin over Easter, $23 shipped.

It's at the tight end of the rdl spectrum, a crapshoot for me. I like rdl, my daily setups are nominally mtl set to their more open range,so we shall see [emoji3]

    Yes, I can do rdl but am finding myself doing a loose mtl with the airflow set open. Flavor with a coil made from superfine Clapton wire is pretty good. Better in my opinion than the flavor I got from the ares 2.

    I've never had an issue order from Kanvape in the past. But may last order placed Mar. 21st went badly. I bought 3 tanks for a bit over $78. The package arrived within a reasonable time. BUT ... it wasn't the 3 tanks I ordered.

    I called each day (calls only go to voice mail) for 3 days, and emailed them each day for 3 days before getting a response to correct the mistake.

    Their answer was, we didn't have the tanks in stock that you ordered so we sent something similar. Would you like to keep them for a discounted price. My answer was no, I want a refund, I'm not interested in the tanks that you sent.

    It took phone calls, and emails over the next couple-few days before they committed to sending me a mailing label to return the 'wrong' tanks and they would issue a refund.

    Still working on getting the refund.

    But out of curiosity, the tanks that they sent, do they even at least take the same coil heads as the ones you actually ordered? Crappy to do what they did IMHO, but just curious.

    Yes ... I ordered 3 Nauty GT mini's ... they sent me 3 full size GT's. I've already got 1/2 doz. of the full size so really didn't want let alone need anymore.

    I've order plenty of times from them with no issues or problems. I think the 'ending days of vaping' has everyone on edge and they just assumed I'd be OK with the switch.

    I've never had any problems w/ Kanvape in the past.

    And then there's the service I got from Giant Vapes ...

    Quite different service from Giant vapes. On Mar 24th around 7pm I placed an order for some tanks. I was msg'ing here on ECF with a friend who was looking for the same tanks. She tried ordering from Giant Vapes but was running into verification issues and the order wouldn't go through.

    So I told her I'll order them for her. So an hour later I place the exact same order again for her. Two hours after I placed the 2nd order ... Giant Vapes emailed me and asked if I made a mistake and placed the same order twice. I answered 'No' the 2nd order was just because I wanted more than I ordered initially.

    I thought that was good customer service ... checking in to see if I made a duplicate order by mistake.

    I wouldn’t have liked the switch they did. I prefer the mini.

    You might want to add a note "no substitutes". I ordered 3x's with the last mid March. No issues. Took 3/4 days -> west coast. Shipping something else is just wrong.

    I decided against it. Price wasn't good enough even after discount to potentially have a problem. Thanks anyhow.

    Been a few months now, any time I buy something vape related I get buyer's remorse 'cuz I know I should have enough. Best left to others who REALLY need it.
