    Somewhere between here and there
I went from 12 to 6 without any withdrawal issues so I don't know that those small changes just to go from 6 to 3 would be necessary for me. I'm convinced I'm mostly addicted to the act of smoking/vaping, not so much the nic. Gonna try to jump from 6 to 3 first.

Did you notice an increase of how much you vape after the decrease?

There were a few challenges but my project stopped because of one challenge: after I removed the motherboard I found the case has motherboard standoffs built into the case which make the "floor" where I would set my chargers very uneven and therefore very hard to fit the chargers in there nice and flat. I need a piece of fireproof material that I can set in there in place of the motherboard in order to make a nice, flat floor.

I can send you a 1" thick piece of granite. You pay the postage.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
That’s good. Most people I hear mention decrease have an increase in volume.

That's why I believe I'm not as addicted to the nic as I am to the act. I may find the jump from 6 to 3 may be different than the jump from 12 to 6, becuse that's where I may find my nic dependency will surface, but I'm willing to try that first rather than go in increments. I'm not going to force myself to go only with 3, I will have 6 juice on standby and ready for action.

LOL. Thanks, but I'll pass. That would make the box rather heavy. Too bad because stone is fireproof, I hear. It's an old tower so it's heavy enough already.

Y'know, I might have a piece of FRP panel I can cut to size somewhere in the attic. But before I go rooting around for it I have to research if it's fireproof and how fireproof it is.

I found 9mg a comfortable place for awhile on my way to 6. Even smaller increments were useful below this. I ran into sort of wall about 5>4 where I started to get vapers' pimples, i.e zits, or bumpy red sores. Maybe a characteristic of what some believe to be the physiological dependency threshold. It happened to me so predictably that I started to work slowly through it or avoid it completely. It recurs from time to time as I occasionally configure recipes above 4.2 and varying consumption (heavy chaining) of my regular vapes likely leaves me averaging in that zone. Not everyone sees this phenomenon and I was very skeptical of any association with nic uptake until it happened to me.

    Good luck. :)
