The C 20 component (upper tank segment) isn't used with the PEI kit, which is the part that screws to the chimney. What holds the tank together when the PEI kit is installed ?. Does the PEI tank have a central thread ?.

On the special edition PEI tank replaces for what I think is the C 20 I would have to see the part. The PEI tank comes with two o rings of which you need one. If you at the top of enclosed picture you'll see where the drip tip section screws into the chimney section.

How much use does it take until the gold plate on the deck starts to show signs of wear ?.

How do you go about building a coil without scratching off the plate ?.

Do you have any recent pictures of the current condition of the build deck ?.

Here's two. I'm not great at taking pictures. The light in the room may make it appear lighter or worn, but they are gold. The one pictured is at least 6 months old.

My Prime DLC looks great after about 4-6 months of usage. Some the gold on the bottom by the 510 is starting to show some wear. But it's not bad. But it's on the bottom. The actual DLC black coating looks great. No signs of wear.

The inside on the build deck. Looks good there too. Tiny little circle where the gold has worn off where it makes contact when I close down the juice flow.

I had ordered the sunrise prime in April and then the nKFL debacle started and no Prime's were being made especially the special editions.

I gave it a wash put a build in and now enjoying the vape.

Ordered a Prime from Creme de Vape. It should be here tomorrow and I demand a free banana split toffee with it.

I might get fingers in me ribs for saying this but the Prime isn't for me. Build and materials are great, I can't fault the thing, and aesthetically it's a great looking tank. Although big for a 2ml tank it isn't actually that big.

I don't like the vape though. No throat hit although having the coil up high helped a bit. Flavour to me using my DIY juices is not what I like. Lastly the Prime is not tight enough for me on the smallest hole. I could live with it if I liked the vape in general but I don't.

I prefer the KFL19 to be honest. Better throat hit and a more condensed flavour, even though my liquids taste way different in it. It's too warm a vape for me though. The Prime is a cooler vape than the KFL19. I'll be selling them both and it's back to the Berserkers for me.

And I didn't get a banana split toffee. It was English cream toffee.

Kayfuns aren't for everyone. I haven't experienced the shortcomings you have but if the Berserker suits your style better then you should stick with it.

I wouldn't call them shortcomings. Thing is I can't evaluate the Prime as a standalone RTA. I'm always going to compare it, or any other RTA, with my Berserkers. If I try a new razor I'm always gonna compare it against my usual razor and I'm gonna choose the best shave of the two.

I'm a bit disappointed. I wanted to like them especially the Lite. I like the size, form and materials. They're just not for me is all.
