Interesting! I'll have to give that a try.

Tested it on and off, no taste change. I'll chain vape a bit for ya XD

Edit: So far all I've gotten was a headache. XD Keep the lip part upward and the slotted part downward. Other way around leaks for sure. For me anyhow.

I'll leave these laying on the side overnight, Zeb and find out for sure tomorrow morning. As of now, the slotted part downward doesn't leak (yet). Looking good, no burning taste.

Thanks, and sorry about the headache. It looks like this could really simplify things.

Update: As a test I took the dry innards of a CE2, perched the mouthpiece on top, and did several 8-second dry burns. The mouthpiece was unaffected. I doubt that normal usage with e-liquid would reach that kind of heat. So it ought to be workable.

True, but if this mod works to help wicking and make filling easier, you might not be getting your baseball cap!

True...

But with all the Hard Work put in to improve the CE2 by a Core Group of members here on the ECF, it makes me happy when I see someone get their CE2's going.

‪CE2 Mouthpiece Mod‬‏ - YouTube

Probably unnecessary, but I'm ridiculously grateful my fluxo doesn't leak anymore. Now here's to hoping that more than 2 of the next order I make of them don't require me to adjust the battery posts :D

I like that vid. I Like That A LOT.

Will have to take some of my CE2's to Santa's workshop and do some testing.

Excellent video! As zoiDman said: dead simple mod. Did it on one of my CE2s and am really liking it. Gotta get a drip tip now.

Excellent video! I'm kinda embarrassed I never thought of that myself.

p.s. I don't see a banjo in that room. You probably keep it in the living room, huh? ;)

Really, when you think about it, ALL the Tips&Tricks/Mods are dead simple for the CE2. Once you see them.

What is cool is when you come across one that you haven't seen before.

Don't have one.... yet. Believe me, I'd sell my car for instruments if I didn't need it.
I didn't think of it myself either. nitrojuga on the volcano chat told me bout it. lol
Just ordered another set of 808 fluxos... :D

If you're taking out the silicone ring (which I think is black) inside the steel ones, slide a bent paper clip gently down the side where the wicks should be (90 degrees away from the syringe holes) and when you feel that give where you've pushed down past the slit, push the paper clip into the metal wall and gently pull up. Just have to be careful about this so you don't snag any wick and snap it.

If you have the clear ones, try it on that so you get the hang of it.

I wouldn't recommend pulling the steel cover off just because... well, it's frickin' difficult.
