Terry, I'm so sorry about the house! I think another one will come along, though, if you're patient. When things like this happen -- and I'm not sure it's true -- but I like to tell myself that it fell through for a reason.

Sorry guys. I've been really bummed lately because it doesn't look like I'm going to get that house I wanted because it won't pass a USDA inspection due to a tiny pit of mold and since I have 0 money to put down, it seems the only way to go. Rave and I have been looking for alternatives and other houses so that has been taking up a lot of my time and Rave usually needs Monday to recover from the weekend especially now since she's been touring a few houses for me and taking lots of pics and vids so I can see them. It's not looking good so I haven't been very sociable.
We got our first home by using the federal rural housing program. It is a great way to buy a home! Be patient and keep looking!!!!! Is there a real estate agent in the area that can help you with your search or do you already have one?
I think I will avoid the religion thread, Zero and Jer. I have other sites that I can debate people on and ECFF is my nice place to be

Looks like it will be hot and windy this week. I think I need to pick some pie cherries and freeze them up. Of course, I need to get some weeding done. I need to work on the house this week.
It didn't cool off much last night. It is 64 degrees out there but I am sure it will be over 90 degrees today.
I have a mister system that I am going to try to set up.

Here is one of my Red Robin penstemons. Wow, my penstemons are huge this year. Some of my coral penstemons have flower stalks as tall as I am!

I just got in from outside at my fire pit. Had a fire going and sat talking. It was pleasant till I got attacked by a massive swarm of mosquitoes. They never bother anyone else. When I got back inside it looks like I got a bad case of hives.
Geez those little buggers get on my nerves.
Other than that everything is dandy.

Hi Celtic.
I've got one of those. As long as I'm in one place it works great. If I move outside the circle of coverage I get nailed. I use it at work in my shipping room. If I'm going to be active outside I use 100% repel. They've got a nifty pen style spray now that comes in a pack of two for just a couple of dollars. I try to avoid that much Deet just cause I don't like absorbing anything but it's really pretty harmless. Hmmm, wonder if you can vape it lol. It's about the only thing I've found that works against the salt water sharpshooters we have over at Mosquito Lagoon.
Aren't those the mosquitoes that suck an entire cow dry?

We are getting high winds here later today but first...hopefully...I am headed out to 'the ranch" to get some cattails and duck weed
I would like to feed the dogs but Molly the neighbors dog has jumped the fence and is playing with my pack. She will climb back out and then I can start handing out meds and filling up the feed bowls.
I need to do some DIY ejuice today since I am getting low on 12mg. I've been cutting back on my mg level.

Terry, patience is a virtue, especially when looking for a house. It's tough but hang on in there and something will come along that's work for you.
NJ is the mosquito capitol of the world, I think. They may not be really big, but they are "NJ tuff"! I went out to the garden the other day at about 7:30 or so and got nailed good. During the day it's either been too hot or too windy for them to be a problem, but as sunset approaches they come out like a dust storm approaching. It drives my IP camera nuts.
I had a "lost weekend". I got up early Saturday and got Bo walked and fed, laundry started and me fed. I sat on the couch watching the world go to heck in a hand basket waiting for the laundry to dry and all of my get up and go got up and went. I haven't felt that tired and achy in a really long, long, time. I even took a nap in the afternoon and it didn't help. Sunday was a recovery day but by Monday I sort of felt OK. I'm back to what passes for normal for me now.
