I have 2 Cthulhus, and I freakin love them. By far, it's the best tank I've ever used. I have 2 Goblins that I bought before the Cthulhu, but I don't really use them anymore. The Cthulhu fixes all my complaints about the Goblin.

I haven't even touched my drippers since I got the Cthulhu....there is just no need.

Why doesn't this tank get more love?

I ordered some titanium wire and I'm gonna try setting up a Cthulhu for temp control.

After a few weeks now with my Cthulhu, although I still like it, I feel like it's been outmatched by the Zephyrus. More airflow and a better top refill option. The decks are very similar. I still use them both but I use the Zephyrus a lot more, it's also a lot easier to take apart and put back together. Pretty excited to see the details on the Cthulhu RDA, though. If it's at a similar price point, I'll definitely be picking one of those up.

The Hastur RDA (from Cthulhu Mod) is $22.99 from Smog Distribution right now. Free shipping.

Ok so far I think ive settled in on my favorite build on this rta. Dual 10 wrap 24 awg ID 2.4mm meters about .35
started to break it in at 40watts and it is vaping great. I can ramp it up a bit as it seems a bit slow to heat up with all that coil jammed in there. Still a hair leak when top filling nothing grossly pouring out though. I really would like bigger head grubs, Hopefully the precision hex drive will work much better.

i have triple twisted 28 ga kanthal 5 wraps 2.5 mm, .21 ohms...great at 70 watts..just top refilled, turned upside down to put cap on, no leaking. so awesome. really nice vape, i'm usually at 35-50watts
So after you top fill, you start the top cap threading turn upside down then tighten?

yes get it started, turn it upside down and tighten it, with airholes closed (idk if it mattters), i leave it upside down for about twenty seconds, open the airflow holes. turn it right side up and vape. i read the technique here on ecf, it works. sometimes i've gotten leaking out of the driptip that way but not recentlyand soon as i started vaping it was fine. i do usually see a little juice on the bottom when i take it off.

Could just be I need to get used to the warm wet type of vape. I was always a big airflow sub ohm dripper. Used a few tanks kayfun aerotank protank subtank etc. right now im at 55w and its warm not hot by any means but I dunno how much higher i could handle. Im used to being able to take long deep lung pulls with a very cool/mildly warm vape.
