I love my Cthulhu but I have the same leak from the bottom of the tank somewhere. To make matters worse it is intermittent. Tried sealing bottom fill hole, still leaks. It almost appears when you remove the tank from the mod, the whole bottom has seeped juice. it does not go down the 510 threaded hole, just the surrounding of it. This is on my IPV mini. I know this tank is prone to getting a lot of condensation around the air intakes, but it is not that causing this. if need be I can post a pic, but I think it's the same leak as described above.

The fill screw should have a little o ring around it. Make sure that is there

Yes the o-ring is in place. I even switched it out for the spare that came with the tank. I just ordered a Billow V2. I love the Cthulhu performance, now if it was just built better. If they come out with a Cthulhu V2 I'll be all over it.

I found I have to use gorilla force to really tighten that screw or it seeps out from there....

I've tried to tighten that screw so tight I thought I was going to break it. I've also tried just snugging it......I really don't think this is coming from the fill hole. It's almost like it is coming from the entire AFC ring. There is no good reason it should, or could, leak from there though????????

I've also replaced every O-ring in the tank, glass is smooth......soooooooo flippin frustrating cause it works so darn good otherwise!

I do get some condensation/seepage from the AFC ring if it is anywhere other than fully open, but strangely I haven't the last few days....

Just got my Cthulhu Today :) I put 2 spaced 2mm 6 wrap 24 gauge coils in it, it meters out at .2.
It Wicks like a dream and Flavour is on point :) To be honest I never thought there would be an RTA that would work good at .2, I was wrong :) No need for dippers any more :)

That driptip is damn sexy. Ordered a 5-pack. :D

I gotta admit, I'm still trying to figure out my Cthulhu, but I guess I'm just picky. I've been trying to cram in coils that will pretty much just fit, as I'm trying to get a build in I can push past 50 watts, as I usually vape at 150w on a MXv4, 3.5mm dual parallel coils 24g 7 or 8 wraps. So I'm trying to get the biggest coil I can get in there to get above 50w. This last built I tried is bent dual coils, 24g 2 or 2.5mm 12 wrap. Each coil is 12 wraps, folded in half to kind of make quad coils, in case I wasn't too clear lol. I got these to fit and added the cotton in so it was a bit snug, and I end up with I feel like muted flavor and after about 5 hits it starts having a slight scorched taste. I made sure to trim the tails so they went into the juice channels without being too thick in them. Would trimming them so it's just a few strands in the juice channels help?

At the moment I only have 24g wire, so if anyone has any recommendations for a 50w+ build using 24g wire, I'd really appreciate it.

A 50 watt build is doable with this atty and luckily it doesn't take coil magic. The key is the size of those juice channels and using the wicks as wicks and not reservoir sponges. Here's my build: 28 AWG Ni 200, 2.5 mm ID, 13 wraps, 0.10 ohm. Use care when wicking to get the ends of the wick just touching the deck and over the juice channels as much as possible, while over the airholes as little as possible (or really not at all or it will leak as the wicks will deposit juice down the airhole just as well as to the coil lol).

I don't have 24 AWG wire so I can't suggest specifics but I'm sure something similar to the above will work. Try the 2.5 mm build -- bigger is not always better if its not a dripper. Bigger coils/wicks in the tiny deck just seems to choke everything and a 2.5 mm build is well matched to the size of the juice channels. When it's wicked right it will wick during the draw.

When wrapping the coils, for a perfect match, try my Mad Scientist method:

I cleaned mine again last night and built and wicked new coils.... Went with 30g this time and used silica instead of cotton, for some reason....

6 wraps of 30g around a toothpick, it turns out the toothpicks we have are even bigger than the little blue screwdriver, so I had no problems at all getting the silica in the coils.... Not quite a contact coil, but very very very little space between each wrap.... It comes in just under an ohm....

I have to take quick, hard hits from it, or I start getting dry/burnt hits.... Could just be the liquid, though....
One thing I noticed with filling, I top fill and if I get a leak through the air channels, I get a constant seepage through the bottom fill screw.... I fill from the bottom and I don't get those leaks, but I get more dry hits while the fill level is above the fatter part of the chamber/chimney....

My problems with my last build, one coil gunked up more than the other, but that same wick looked like it was burning.... This new build, so far, is just a tad bit warmer than the last one, but not a warm vape either.... More production and flavor than the last one, even with the drastic decrease in pull length, so far.... I'll try it later on a lower VG liquid later today....

@rhm3769 I only got leaks from the air holes when there wasnt enough wick in the juice channels. Once you get that part down you should only have a hair drizzle leak if any when top filling.
Yeah, that hair drizzle is what I was referring to, but it's a bit more than that, completely fills one channel and no matter how it clear it, it only happens when top filling....
Maybe a drop or two, so its not a big deal with me....
