Deciding between IPV2, IPV3, Sigelei 100watt, cloupor T8, or doubtfully a DNA30 device

After waiting a few extra weeks for my first Cana30(Clouper) with the pre order only to have it fry less than a week later I can say I've learned my pre order lesson. Now my second Cana(FT) is not pusing any power to the atty even though everything looks fine. Fool me once with cheap china chips shame on you, fool me twice..dang.

For now I'll have to let my King mod and VTR fill the gap. Looking very hard at all 100W+ vw chips/boxes but just can't settle on one yet.

ETA: Anyone have any info on the GI2 yet?

Yeah I do not think I will make this wave. I figure it will be around November before I actually get this thing, I hope you have better luck with your order.

What color did you order?
I ordered a black one. Looks like they are really black this time, not the dark, gunmetal grey.

I think the Sigelei is the ugliest out of the four listed devices, but I love the fire button on it. Much more comfortable when compared to the IPV3.
I'm not looking to strut my stuff. I just want something that's simple, and solid.

I think the ugliest is the God 180. Jacob would be knocking at my door. Exhaling a massive cloud with a Watchtower mag in the other hand ! :D

Oh I'm not either but I still like an attractive mod ;)

It appears to be a solid device and like I said it has the best button which is the second most important feature, next to power. Looks are right at least important, I was just saying.

Enjoy your new device, I'm sure you will.

Thanks man ! I'm stoked ! I can't wait to try it. I just hope the flavor is gonna be like a mech.

i got the ipv3 in black and one in grey. I love the contrast with the polished edge on the black. And yes, it is very black (this time).
so far no problems. Checked my wattage and voltage and see no discrepancy with levels on the screen.
Love the spring 510, the bigger back screws (but magnets would be better imo), and the dual batteries. Finish is very nice, inside sort of blah.

Finally ! Almost a month wait. My Sigelei shipped !!! :D
Very interested in your opinion of it. I bet you were swayed by the fire button..:)

Especially if you have access to try out the IPV3.. I'm not interested in any clouper products.:)

Still interested to see how efficient two batteries are in series with the buck regulator of the IPV3.

I know...but I'm curious on how the IPV3 compares..really the sx330 v3? I don't know..I'm confused after the original version 2 with the chips..but haven't taken the time to look at the differences..

So 2-18650 in series with 1-7 Volt range, or 2-26650 in series with a (what is it the sx330 v2? 3.6-8.5 Volts? )

I'll report back this weekend. I already have a build planned. 4 wrap 1 mm ribbon dual with 3 strands of 3 mm silica. :D:

Try something like this...my "special" kanthal shines above 50 Watts...of course, I preordered an IPV2.:) but this build around 80 Watts... I'm pretty sure my airholes are larger than 1/8"on my origen also.. Seriously, the censoring on ecf needs to have exceptions..so you know...this .... is so ....ing amazing it blew my head straight the .... off my damn neck......ing the ....! Lol...typed all that to see how it reads with "...".

I don't have a good image of the loose chain wire. It also can't be pressed nearly as hard as the tighter twist in the picture above...I'm sticking with this stuff until a resistance wire comes out that's better than kanthal for me..that i know the chemical composition of..

Yeah...if I didn't run out of wire from trial and error, I'd send you some..

Loose wire was pressed above 10 tons.. the tighter stuff, in the first picture, was pressed around 30 tons... but a flat hammer does the trick with the loose twists easily.

Almost already broke the steel blocks I'm pressing with....warping steel, but wire is intact.lol

That's genius ! I was thinking of hammering round wire before ribbon was introduced. I really like that.
