Unused batts generally last 3ish years before they start deteriorating. If the charge has been allowed to deplete it will be even less.
Which is why I would no longer buy an AW. The factory has been shut down nearly a year so anyone selling AWs has stock that is at least a year old that likey has never been charged. A bit of a risk I’d say. One of the appealing things about RTD was they turned their inventory quickly so you were always assured of getting fresh batteties.

So have a ton of batts now. Do I take all of them, test them and charge them half way or?
If they are 2 years old or younger, I would put them in your battery rotation and use them. They will never be as good as they currently are. You might as well make good use of them.

I rotate seven Samsung 30Q 3000mAh batteries, all of them the same age, and use one a day in my single battery mod. I should get at least 2 full years of use rotating them this way.

I have 8-10 LGHG2’s (poo brown) and label them with the month & year I received them, plus a letter (A,B,C, etc) to give them identities.

Helps with weeding out troublesome/dying cells, since I don’t come anywhere near killing an 18650 in a day.

Has anyone seen this or informed the community? FDA sending letters out to manufacturers on October 12th.

Sorry if this has been covered.

CTP Letters to Industry

Edit: looks like it may have been covered I’m not entirely sure. But here’s the link for letters which you can view if anyone is interested.

Any idea when this was recorded? I ask because Gotlieb seemed more positive about vaping here, or at least more positive than some of the recent comments we've read.
It was within the last couple of months.

As of yesterday, Gotlieb announced that the plan to address teen vaping is to provide "prescription drugs" to teens. I wonder who benefits from that idea...Big Phama?

I wonder who benefits from that idea...BP?
Would be interesting to know if their sales of nicotoys have declined significantly since vaping hit the market.
I have a feeling they're sitting on some dead weight stock they're very eager to get rid of...
