In a Way, this to Me was Not a surprise.

And what Caused me to Post this...

I wonder How Much influence juul/Atria had on this VTA Lawsuit?

and then Rossum's Spot On reply.

I would guess not much.

Juul is the one company I'm thoroughly confident will have an acceptable PMTA filed by the deadline. Their partners at Altria clearly know how to write one, as evidenced by the fact that the one they submitted for IQOS ended up getting approved. By "acceptable" I don't mean it will be approved quickly, I just mean that the FDA won't be able to reject it out-of-hand as incomplete.

If you were Juul, would you want to give the rest of the industry a reprieve? Wouldn't you rather be the only one (or one of very, very few) that has product that remains legal to sell after next May?

Sounds like JUUL is 100% Big Tobacco now. I was withholding judgement and hoping they were still on our side, but I guess not now. This proves that its a dog-eat-dog world.

VTA is/should Always do what is Best for the Majority of it's Membership. And JUUL is Always going to do what is Best for JUUL.

If VTA's path is Mutually Exclusive to JUUL's, JUUL (or any other Member) is going to take Another road.

I was thinking in more general terms. Seems to me dog eat dog is the norm more often than not.
I was in my local vape today and a customer asked for Juul pods. Sales lady said Juul is the enemy and won't be sold in this establishment. I didn't realize why until now.

This isn't dog-eat-dog. This is one really big dog getting his master to shoot the other dogs for him.

The figure of speech "dog eat dog" has nothing to do with the behavior of dogs and everything to do with (some) people's/entities' willingness to do anything to get what they want. Fairness doesn't enter into it.

Not that it enters into actual dogfights, either.

The figure of speech "dog eat dog" ...
Wait! ... I thought it was a "doggie dog world" ... you know ... all nice and playful, maybe a little .... sniffing. You're saying dogs are eating dogs out there in some cannabalistic feeding frenzy and we're flippantly using that as a figure of speech? Sheesh, I sure hope we get to Helena's handbasket soon (gotta be better in there, right?).

I stand up and applaud that lady. Next time you're there, tell her that. Hell, give her a hug from me if you can.

This article may explain those recent hospital admissions caused by vaping. Read what the local media is not telling us.

Dank Vapes Is the "Biggest Conspiracy" in ... That Can Put You in a Coma | Inverse

“These are just people filling cartridges as ‘Dank Vapes.’ It’s not a singular facility. It’s just people in their garages filling them and selling them.”

Myron Ronay, the CEO of BelCosta Labs, a testing lab in California, tells Inverse that they often see black-market products that contain unsafe levels of myclobutanil — a fungicide. When myclobutanil is heated, it releases toxic fumes, one of which is hydrogen cyanide. Small amounts of HCN are released when smoking cigarettes, but larger doses are lethal. HCN was a major component of Zyklon-B, the gas used in Nazi gas chambers. Unregulated products, like black-market Dank Vapes, have no one checking to see where that line is drawn."

    Yeah, this wont surprise anyone.

If the drug pushers could get their products in your system they will do it by any means possible.
