Thoughts? This is what's going on in Michigan.

Seems the way a lot of shops will probably go for a while.
But why won't they let the 17 year olds talk?

"Nothing specifically addresses DIY.
Nic base (regardless of strength) is considered a tobacco product. If it is marketed\sold to the public then a PMTA will probably be required.

"As defined in section 910(a)(1) of the FD&C Act, “new tobacco product” means: (1) any
tobacco product (including those products in test markets) that was not commercially marketed
in the United States as of February 15, 2007
; or (2) any modification (including a change in
design, any component, any part, or any constituent, including a smoke constituent, or in the
content, delivery or form of nicotine, or any other additive or ingredient) of a tobacco product
where the modified product was commercially marketed in the United States after February 15,
2007.""

Regarding flavoring:

Proposed § 1114.3 includes the following definitions from the FD&C Act:
1. Additive.
As defined in section 900(1) of the FD&C Act, “additive” means any substance the
intended use of which results or may reasonably be expected to result, directly or indirectly, in its
becoming a component or otherwise affecting the characteristic of any tobacco product
(including any substances intended for use as a flavoring or coloring or in producing,
manufacturing, packing, processing, preparing, treating, packaging, transporting, or holding),
except that such term does not include tobacco, or a pesticide chemical residue in or on raw
tobacco or a pesticide chemical.

I think this pretty much covers ANY eliquid, regardless of strength.
Now, do you think someone will get a PMTA for 100mgl?

"FDA proposes to define “finished tobacco product” to mean a tobacco product, including
all components and parts, sealed in final packaging (e.g., filters or filter tubes sold separately to
consumers or as part of kits, e-liquids sold separately or packaged with an e-cigarette)."

"As defined in section 900(20) of the FD&C Act (21 U.S.C. 387(20)), the term “tobacco
product manufacturer
” means any person, including a repacker or relabeler, who: (1)
manufacturers, fabricates, assembles, processes, or labels a tobacco product or (2) imports a
finished tobacco product for sale or distribution in the United States."

The dominoes are falling........

Not say'n that I Didn't expect More State Bans to happen. I did/do.

But what caused me to kinda Blow my coffee out my nose was that this is supposed to be an Immediate Ban.

No Chance to Sell Off Inventory.
No Chance for Employees to try and find a New Job.
No Chance to Try and get out of a Lease.
Nothing.

I was furious after watching Tamron Hall today on her segment on “e-cigarettes”. As I googled to find a link to share (cause honestly, I’d like her Twitter/whatever feed lit up with what a fool she is), I found this... has anyone heard anything about this? What would it mean for us long term since most everything comes out of China?? Sorry, it’s really just a blurb...China planning controls on e-cigarettes amid health concern

Governor DeWine just anounced a flavor ban for Ohio. Our state group is holding a rally, which I plan to attend. I even ordered a shirt today to wear.

Thanks for the links. On first try they wouldn't load, but the "try again" worked. BTW, your inbox is full. Are you in Ohio, and do you plan on going to the rally?
Yes I am in Ohio. Not sure yet if I will be able to make the rally...
