I think we all saw this exact outcome, didn't want to believe it would really happen, but knew it would. They spent billions on misinformation over the past several years to get the majority of the popular vote on board with their agenda and the time was finally right for them.
Yep. They put vaping in their crosshairs and when that happens it's almost always a death sentence. The antics they pull getting there are just camouflage and stunts.

The best I can say is that I once hoped it wouldn't, but knew that there was a someday when a corporate shill would take it over and that would be that.

We now live in that someday... too bad we didn't manage some approvals first.

Flavors never stood a snowball's chance in h3ll of getting approved. The only approvals will be the tobacco flavor pods put out by BT, the ones that taste like dirty sock.

Didn't we just go through this last year? - Isn't that why I've spent at least a few hundred dollars in hardware and vape for this so-called 'vapopaclypse' that is supposed to end all vaping?

So what are they going to do? They can't even get the post office to ban vape shipping because of ???
    - Maybe it cost too much to do so, a losing proposition.

Are they going to say that though nicotine is legal and flavors are legal, when you mix nicotine and flavors you have created a dangerous substance that is magically addictive and must be declared a controlled substance and outlawed with stiff prison sentences for distribution and sale - Welcome to Afghanistan, USA !!!

It has been said that the Soviet Union fell partially because of Afghanistan - This will not happen here
    - America will fall because moronic 'control freaks' taking money from a senile old billionaire do not understand the consequences of their actions.

Under the FDA’s orders, the manufacturers — JD Nova Group LLC, Great American Vapes and VaporSalon — must pull 55,000 existing or planned flavored products from the market or risk enforcement. Regulators said the companies’ applications failed to provide “sufficient evidence” that their products provide a net public health benefit for adult smokers compared with the “threat posed by the well-documented, alarming levels of youth use” of flavored vapes.
The agency’s orders, which were its first marketing denials for e-cigarettes, singled out the companies for selling vapes that come in flavors such as Apple Crumble, Dr. Cola and Cinnamon Toast Cereal.
“We know that flavored tobacco products are very appealing to young people, therefore assessing the impact of potential or actual youth use is a critical factor in our decision-making about which products may be marketed,” FDA acting commissioner Janet Woodcock said in a statement.

Apparently, the PMTA process may be a sham perpetrated by the FDA. Then again, maybe not.

But now would be a good time for all vapers to take care of themselves. Learn how to DIY. If you need nicotine, buy it wherever you find it. Check your equipment and see if anything needs to be replaced. Etc., etc., etc.

I had a strange thought. I live in SW Florida.

I feel like I'm preparing for the September 9th deadline like I would a hurricane headed for Florida.
LOL I am in Louisiana I AM prepping for a hurricane amidst all this!

According to the FDA acting commissioner Janet Woodcock:

[QUOTE"]“We know that flavored tobacco products are very appealing to young people, therefore assessing the impact of potential or actual youth use is a critical factor in our decision-making about which products may be marketed,”[/QUOTE]

    And? So?

Flavors appeal to a lot of people.

FYI, Ms. Woodcock, My ADV's are a Butterscotch flavor and a Cinnamon Funnel Cake flavor. And unless one is blind, I could not be classified as a "young people".

BTW, the legal age to buy vape products is 21. If anyone is selling "flavored tobacco products" to those under 21, it is a law enforcement problem and not an FDA problem.

This battle is going to be good. I'm going long on popcorn futures. :pop:

Problem is there is no law that obligates the government or the FDA to be fair or equal.

For maybe 50 years or more the marijuana people argued marijuana is safer than alcohol - got them nowhere.

There is an agenda war against tobacco funded by special interests and at least one billionaire determined to kill off all nicotine use - The popularity of vaping made it a prime target.

Apparently we have some people in government on our side:

Senator Paul Expresses Concern Over USPS Vape Rules
Senator Paul Expresses Concern Over USPS Vape Rules - Vapor Voice

I'm not a lawyer - though research indicates there are some law firms who specialize in vape law
    - Can they stop the de facto enforcement of rules that are actually trying to block vape use just because many vapers will be driven back to smoking?
As of now it looks to me that they are trying to turn nicotine into a 'controlled substance' and regulate as a narcotic drug.
The fact is vaping can be done with zero nicotine - But we are up against a well funded 'witch hunt'.
