I am going to lose my mind, the rest of it anyway. Here is the reply my Congressman sent to me:

Thank you for contacting me. As your Congressman, your thoughts and concerns are very important to me. Please know that I have received your message and will respond in a timely manner.
In the meantime, please visit my website - mikebishop.house.gov - where you can find additional information and sign up for my newsletter. You can also follow me on Twitter, as well as my official Facebook Page. These are great resources for keeping up to date on what I'm doing in Washington and the district.
I look forward to serving you and the families of Michigan's 8th District.

After checking to see who would be running against him this November, it seems there's a good chance it will be "Half Pint" from Little House on the Prairie.

After I mixed myself a much needed drink, I found myself looking at a Phillip Morris patent. It's some kind of weird electronic "flavor generating article" that looks like some sort of electric cig, but uses "tobacco flavor material" which is heated and provides vapor or aerosol to the smoker. It describes joules, ohms, 4 batteries in series, volts, 26 pages of all kinds of goodies. It was applied for in May 1995, granted Feb. 2, 1999. Patent number 5,865,185, if you're into that kind of thing.

I think I need another drink.

It just occurred to me that manufacturers will need a separate PMTA for every pg/vg ratio.
I haven't seen that brought up. but you're right. Just like the mg strength. Man, they really wound this thing tight. I'll bet they feel very smug.

We all are reacting to this in our own way, but going back to smoking at this time makes no sense to me, while most everything is readily available to continue vaping in whatever style you prefer. I just can't see why anybody would make that move. I hope few do.
Pressure from family after the evening news.

Advise to reconsider some of what he actually means by that:
I'm all about the last line, nothing more and nothing less.
Only those who do not wish for political power can be trusted with it.

I'm pretty sure that is an ultimate truth.
That's why I should be elected, because I don't want no part of it.

If ecigs are held to the standard of which the FDA has set and are considered a tobacco product then why shouldn't cigarettes be held to the same health standards? Just thinking out of the box here. Maybe we as vapers should insist that cigarettes are held to the same standard. Whats fair is fair. Right?

Yep. Every ratio, every nic level, every size. If ANYTHING changes from the previous batch, including the color of the bottle cap, new application.

They are, that's why there haven't been any new cigarettes on the market since 2009, they even decided that some released after 2007 that has applied for substantial equivalence weren't actually equivalent. That's why Camel Crush disappeared.

The difference is, nothing that was on the market prior to 2007 has to go through the same process.

Salut!

I don't know about Philip Morris, but RJ Reynolds had the Premier: Premier (cigarette) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

And now for something almost different. I hope it cheers you up a little.

Meet Barbara. She uses an Eclipse and is insane.
