I can't "like" your post, but I get it. I, on the other hand, have a mind that constantly screams FEED ME! Even if it something stupid like trying to find out if all of the Camel Crush flavors have been banned when I don't smoke. (I'm bored with camels now btw, I have to find something else to play with.)

By all means FEED THE NEED, it's just the more I learn the more I wish I didn't know, it's heading quickly towards ignorance is NOT bliss, but will be blistering!

Geesh!

I'm still trying to figure out if all of the Camel Crush flavors are banned, but I came across a site that goes into detail about how to smoke cigarettes!

"DO NOT start on non-filter cigarettes. Try one after you get a few packs down."

And all this time we've been saying there AREN'T sites dedicated to how to smoke a cigarette, what ignorant beasts we are. I bet we were all inhaling wrong for years too.

Until I started vaping I didn't know they were different styles of smoking, I thought everyone smoked MTL.

I really don't understand how and why OMB/OIRA gave them a green light this time. Those rules are so draconian and unrealistic, and yet nobody objected, like they did the first time around. Those folks are supposed to be apolitical numbers crunchers. So what happened?
I am kinda' confused here. This first time around was mentioned before.
When did this happen in the timeline of vaping history?
Regards
Mike

Again, I understand the argument, and there is a bit of truth to it. However, there's another aspect. If the only vapers that existed were those that no one ever sees or notices, how much different would public opinion really be? The FDA, CDC, etc. would not have run their campaigns any differently, they don't even mention blowing it in people's faces.

I don't advocate being rude, but vaping in public, so people might be able to see that there is nothing to be afraid of, that I do support.

That was part of Brickman's essay, as well. We (the vaping community) have been almost entirely reactive in our approach. We try to counter raw emotionalism with simple facts, and it doesn't work. This isn't going to be about the facts. It's going to be about swaying public opinion.
Whether it's accurate or not, the public image of vaping has been allowed to be driven by the convention/competition/hipster scene, and by people who IMO are simply being rude.
If your opinion of cars was formed only by what you saw at Autorama, and your local cruise night, reinforced by news stories of teenagers dieing while racing in the streets, what would you think of them?
When we're fighting a propaganda war FACTS DON'T MATTER!
We need the PUBLIC IMAGE of vaping to better reflect the 99% of "invisible" vapers you were talking about. We need to be PROACTIVE in projecting that image to the public, with radio, and TV spots, YouTube videos, print media ads, etc.
I can come up with a couple of campaign themes, already.

I've been saying this for awhile now: Where is our publicist?

@Robino1 may have already stated this somewhere here, but the bot-or-human rep on their FB page keeps insisting that eight PMTA's have been approved.

At last check though, they STILL haven't responded to the many requests for the list of eight.

Vote wisely.

It's SNUS. Eight different flavors or packaging variants...

Technically there were eight, all for Swedish Match snus under the General brand name.

With respect to NIC base. Direct from the Draft Guidance on PMTA and bolded by me:

E-liquids 187

188

For the purposes of this guidance document, liquid nicotine and nicotine-containing e-liquids 189 (i.e., liquid nicotine combined with colorings, flavorings, and/or other ingredients) are generally 190 referred to as e-liquids. Liquids that do not contain nicotine or other material made or derived 191 from tobacco, but that are intended or reasonably expected to be used with or for the human 192 consumption of a tobacco product, may be components or parts and, therefore, subject to FDA’s 193 tobacco control authorities.

 See how they twisted and contorted their flawed definition of "e-liquids" to kill the industry.

Stay Strong! Fight!

I for one am glad that I won't be around to see 2112
In the early 80's I lived in an apartment complex The address of my building was 1221. The numbers were constantly being stolen and any time you gave out directions you had to tell them which building it was because there was never any numbers on it. :)
