I am thinking that a lot of "private clubs" are being planned right this minute. Members only affairs, maybe the occasional swap meet. Folks who own shops and mix juice are going to want to keep making that money. Their customers are still going to need juice. The black market will be closer than many realize. Some folks out there are already banking on it...

This is rabidly becoming a political nightmare. I for one am stepping back, I will continue to follow any directives from CASAA in a effort to be apart of an organized movement to address this issue. I have pretty much amassed enough to take care of my vaping needs beyond my life expectancy, but I will continue adding until such time as I can no longer. Too many of our crowd already believe the gov't has our best interest at heart and whole heartedly support the same bunch that have brought this to us now! We gave them this power either through direct vote or nonchalance. It was all roses and wine when it was someone else they were trying to control or take a right from, now look where we are. As always though what goes around comes around! Time will tell the truth.

And the fact that an oversight arm of the government is questioning the intentions of another government entity, well, that's never a bad thing.

New Legislation would be a Very Uphill Road. But if there was a Finding of Oversight, that would make this Easier. With a Finding of Oversight, Congress could Also threaten the FDA with Reduced Funding.

Funny How Funding could be Used to Achieve a Goal. And that is Why I Included it in one of Factors when I said earlier that Big Money was Involved.

Sadly I don't think that we're going to get any traction in Congress. The mainstream media is selling this as "For the children", and "Safety standards", and the general (nonvaping) public is buying it. VERY few politicians of ANY stripe are going to buck that.
Any type of political action is going to take time that we don't necessarily have to build support in the wider populous. I'm not suggesting that we ignore that angle, but our best bet for immediate relief is through the courts at this point.
