A person takes a drag off an ecigarette and they exhale smoke. It has to be bad because cigarettes do the same thing.

This is the thinking of the ignorant.

It's magic. It's even more amazing that the fog machines at concerts / events they go to are perfectly fine.

You should've seen the amount of fog they produced at two recent events I went to, yet vaping was forbidden.

Funny you mention that. I was vaping at my neighbor's kitchen table and my neighbor's daughter (44 years old) who was visiting from out of town starting acting childish waving her hands around and fake coughing and wincing her eyes like I was killing her with my "smoke" before the vape had even drifted beyond two feet. Her sister was there and told her it was vape, not smoke. She insisted it was killing her. Her sister went off on her. Told her it was the same as the fog machines she sits in front of at concerts. There are just some people who refuse to open their minds about anything. Their heads are made of rock. They get it in their minds they hate smokers and just extend that to vapers as well. It's not the act, it's personal to them. They hate smokers and they hate us. If "smoke" comes out it is bad. Period. End of story. Like I say, their heads are made of rock.

The funniest one I've heard so far...

Random Person: I'm allergic to smoke, so you can't use that near me.
Me: It's not smoke.
Person: Well whatever it is I'm allergic to it.

Mind you this was outdoors, and I wasn't very close to this person to begin with. Also I am a Tootle Puffer, so no huge clouds from me!

Yep. It's personal. They don't hate vaping. They hate the person that vapes.

I've read a few of these types of stories regarding thick-headed people, and I agree there are absolutely those people out there. I wonder, though, how much of it is actually people being stubborn in any particular belief vs. how the brain-washing influence of propaganda media has a major impact on their psyche. Just like how the war on smoking became the war on smokers, those that make the rules are using the very same playbook to demonize vaping, so that must have a profound impact on those who are subject to such influences.

My response would be: Then I suppose you'll need to find somewhere else to go; I suggest a very hot place, deep underground.

Some people are also just plain nuts. There were two people at a cycling event that refused to meet in a McDonald's parking lot, because there could be "GMO's in the air."

I think because I cycle/run/hike I run into more of the militant health nut type. It's not all by any means, but more than in the general population.

My reply would've been something like "Ok, I'm allergic to you and your existence." then a silent stare.

Or my old reply to the smoking nannies where I work: "don't you have something better to do?"

You and I should form a misanthrope club, but we'd probably never have a meeting.

And I'd bet she had on perfume.

Ultimately leading to the Demise if DIY users.............No thanks.:grr:
I strictly purchase in 100mg/ml strength for simplicity of use.
.3ml in 10ml mix = 3mg/ml
1.2ml in 30ml mix = 3mg/ml

The Product can be safely handled and provides for easy storage with minimal environmental impact - less containers per usage for disposal.
:)

1.2ml in 30ml mix = 4mg/ml

I'd like to know, too, where this came from. I don't know much about the first 5 people, but nobody will convince me that Dimitris, Azim and Phil are traitors or Big Tobacco supporters or whatever. Sorry.

SeviaUSA

VTA also brought up questions regarding Cole/Bishop with this video that Lessifer posted (he makes clear that this is not his opinion - but just posting fyi):

Tuesday May 10th community events

Making implications from the floor discussion of the Appropriations committee that Cole/Bishop had wording in it about flavors - which both you and I have pointed out, that is NOT the case.

Deeming Regulations have been released!!!!

Totally a cash scam.....tho it was originally intended for BT because they knew that they had big $ and probably to punish them also. And to get a piece of their action. jmo.

I think its all debatable. 2 things I kept thinking while I was looking at the US Code21 and the Public Law 111-41-June 22, 2009(Family Smoking Prevention & Tobacco Control Act) was:

1) ejuice vendors just remove all nic from their juice and still sell all their formulas as currently do. (users would have to go to nic supply houses for nic and make their own). And
2) Maybe all vendors should then apply for an exemption from the regs.

The only thing that vaping has in common is the nic. NO vaping device or ejuice actually contain any tobacco leaves as described in the US codes or do they resemble anything that even comes close to the 'official' definition of what the law says constitutes a 'cigarette'

Just a thought.
:)

Read page 222 of the regs... 0 nic juice is deemed to be in scope if intended or reasonably expected to be used in an ENDS...

It's funny that not once in my life have I run toward a thing that I'm allergic to and/or believe to be deadly.

I don't know anything about the VTA and what the concerns may be.
But I DO know all about the guy that made that video.

And as far as I'm concerned...
His opinion isn't worth the effort it takes to click "Play".

Dimitris and PB Traitors?

I don't think I'd go That far.

But, there is no difference here than in many other "causes".

Those that squawk the Loudest Often have a Vested Interest.

It's Dimitris and PB's Paying Jobs to get you excited about (some angle of) vaping. I thought I read one of The First things Deeming kills is Free Samples to Advertisers/Reviewers like PB. Ie; it would basically shut down his Youtube action as it is right now.

And you can Bet Money Dimitris isn't doing his Advocacy for free.

Not making any indictments, just stating some Facts.
