I think that sometimes too. I often say to myself, "Hurry up and get your life over with so I don't have to watch it".Sometimes I'm glad that my future is fairly short (I'm 75).

I'm so glad I lived at least the beginning of my life before the term Political Correctness was invented. That IMHO is the root of all our evils. That was when 1984 started to become reality and it is chilling to consider how close that moment was to 1984....Sometimes I'm glad that my future is fairly short (I'm 75).

This has been one of my major (2) concerns with 2016 Deeming of Nicotine. The second is Far Worse, and I cannot mention it publicly to reduce chances of implementation.I'm curious about this too. My understand would be, if they ONLY sell to manufacturers then their product is a raw material and does not require a PMTA. However, if they sell directly to consumers, the product DOES require a PMTA. Whoever "finishes" the product, i.e. making it ready for sale directly to consumers, is the one who files the PMTA.
I'm with you, though only kicking at 63's door. Messed up calculations with all this and now have a 59yr. Nic supply.Sometimes I'm glad that my future is fairly short (I'm 75).

This seems to be picking up steam, if you get a chance go look at the comments in the FDA's twitter feed @FDATobacco
Okay, Next Question:
Will the 2016 Update Deeming include and effect All Producers of Nicotine?(Manufacturers/refiners)
i.e. are they now Required to register as tobacco Manufacturers?
Are they now subject to PMTA policy?

More trolling for collapsed lung vapers stories...they are getting some negative feedback from vapers (in the large scheme of things a drop in the bucket) but I do not think it is slowing the FDA down one bit ......................and honestly some of the comments.... well...I will just say I don't see how they are helping our side one bit, same with their FB page.

1 gallon = 3.785 liters. I round to 4, not 3
Myfreedomsmokes.com (MFS) is NOT a "backwater source". Their everyday price for a liter of 100mg nic is $50 and they regularly put it out at $42 or so. Buy 2 and you get free shipping. They are a very well respected source for nic but they do not market themselves as "boutique premium". I have made 4 buys over an 18 month period and was fully satisfied each time.
Last year I ordered a sample vial of Nude Nicotine. When I got it I tested it against my MFS by mixing unflavored VG at 24mg and was not sure I could tell them apart. Just the other day I did a similar test at 50mg (yes fifty). The NN may have been slightly less harsh. If I made a habit of vaping 50mg I might upgrade and pay double. But since I normally vape 3mg where it is impossible for me to tell the difference....
Eta:. Yes, to get good pricing you need to buy nic by the liter,. Pg and VG by the multiple gallons and flavoring by the 4 oz bottle.
Key: A = Amount , T = Target , C = Concentrate , N = Needed
A T C N
( 4 L * 1.8 mg) / 100 mg = 72 mL of C [18 mL/L of C]
I simply don't understand how it could NOT require a PMTA when sold directly to consumers. Some people have talked about its "other" uses but I have not been able to find nicotine suspended in PG or VG for sale for any other use, and when it is sold from a site that also sells other vaping supplies, or even just flavorings, the intent is clear.I think that those questions would be the reason there's so much 'stocking-up' talk, and it's hard to say with how broad the deeming is but how little information the FDA has actually provided. Who knows?
Maybe you can sell some off and live like a king. I won't tell anyone if you buy a trenchcoat and 10ml bottles while you stand outside former vape shops.
Yes, 72ml of 100mg concentrate will make 4 liters of 1.8mg final juice. At 1.8mg it goes a long wayNo, I do not think poorly of MFS at all in any manner, my humble apologies if I did not express properly. Words do get in that way too often. There are very reputable vendors. There are also very irreparable vendors. I do not desire going so cheap as to get sulfuric acid shipped to me as nicotine or some such.
Being on fixed budget too does not help. I am kind of in limbo at the moment as to attaining fair gear. Once I have the fair gear the no plan, plan is to attain a fair pantry stock of unflavored juice at 1.8 mg/mL. If I want flavors I can go to the grocer's if need be or possibly extract from herbs around the homestead. Yes there are other herbs aside from the one disallowed from discussion. For example, I'm thinking basil and milkweed may provide a nice sweet cream flavor.
I'm not a business here. I am merely an individual who likes to vape as a hobby. as a way to live, to express love and help others. There should be no wrong in me enjoying a fair pantry stock of a base juice, or using my mod to vape it. Yet yesterday while in town I hid my mod when we got out of the truck. Told my wife I did not want 15 years for being an unlicensed manufacture, as that's what the silly regulations would define for me. I build my own coils, looking to mix my own juice ... yes, unlicensed manufacture of tobacco products and possibly with intention to sell and distribute.
"Cool, I'm now an illicit drug dealer! Let me go start my cartel, now."
Seriousness aside, I would and could not deal with being jailed. No, jail is not for me. I refuse being someone's abused twink, or having to have an abused twink to live, or commit suicide, or be pushed so far as to need to kill. That way is not for human beings. It is the way being offered. Lets shut it down before it gets here.
Now, please check my algebra?
Key: A = Amount , T = Target , C = Concentrate , N = Needed
A T C N
( 4 L * 1.8 mg) / 100 mg = 72 mL of C [18 mL/L of C] Do I have it correct?
That's the Only Reason I'm Fighting all this. For that Poor Smuck out there somewhere, that I would like to see have the Same Chance of Quitting Smoking that I Did.
It doesn't matter what we think.I simply don't understand how it could NOT require a PMTA when sold directly to consumers. I've gotten older after I started vaping. Vaping must cause aging.More trolling for collapsed lung vapers stories...
Also, who thought it was a good idea for Congress to grant authority to an agency, and then allow that agency the power to expand its own authority?

*Note: Reading the original deeming Act, it seems FDA is combining 901 and 911 in their reasoning for approval. However 911 is MRTP.
from MRTP:
FDA can issue an order authorizing the marketing of a product only if the evidence submitted in the application meets the requirements of Section 911, including, among other things, showing that the product will or is expected to benefit the health of the population as a whole.
