I have no clue, what happens if a food manufacturer has to change brands of food coloring, flavor, brand of flour in their products if there is a shortage in the supply chain? Does Vuse have to submit a new application if their nic supplier goes under and they switch to a different company?

And what if an ink manufacturer changes the formula for their ink? Do e-juice manufacturers have to submit a new PMTA because their labels will be considered a new tobacco product? This is so absurd that I really have no words to describe it all.

Apparently you two didn't get the memo, there is no drought. However, Katya, we're still keeping the water. :)

OK, keep the water. I'm going to retire somewhere in NoCal anyway. Napa? I've always wanted a farm or a vineyard, or an olive grove, a couple of goats and a garden with a koi pond. I love koi ponds. :)

 You go girl, that is one of the most rockin' letters I've ever read!

Not sure about the medical states but the ones that have legalized it are making a :censored: load on taxes from the stuff. Again, it all comes down to the money.

A neighboring county has legalized the growing of other stuff. LEOs are now actually going door-to-door to make sure people are complying with the licencing of their grows (despite the multiple murders concerning grows/thefts there) so they can get their taxes, which are a pittance compared to tobacco taxes. Keep that in mind if you don't think big/little government might be concerned about your vaping once taxes kick in.

I think this was a Sacramento County thing, but the voters  just passed a measure to tax the medical stuff, supposedly to fund after school programs. I of course voted against it. I wonder how those voters would feel if their Pain/antidepressant/nausea/whatever else medications were being taxed.

I haven't caught up with this thread yet, but IMO, I wouldn't even allude to vapers going back to smoking. Total silence while everyone does their thing with BM or DIY. How furious would they be if what they thought WOULD happen doesn't? And not only that, but guess what FDA/BT/BP/BGz?- now you don't even get the taxes. So....good job!

As Classy is fond of saying--not another dime. :D

Ink on the label... that depends, is it noticeably a different color? If yes, then yes, new product. They might be able to file an Exemption from Substantial Equivalence though, if the change was minor enough.

Not Helpful:oops:

Never heard of them. Some Cali site.
Wow, these people don't get it, do they?
Look, in a truly free country, people should be able to do whatever it is they damn well please as long as it's not hurting anyone else but that's just not reality and these people aren't helping our cause one bit with these cartoon labels.

"When a chicken is burned, the resulting black crisp will contain carcinogens but that does not mean that chicken are carcinogenic," Peter Hajek

Peter Hajek, director of the Tobacco Dependence Research Unit at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, said the study did not reflect real-world conditions.

Oh, I know. I was just trying to make a point that you don't have to burn your bookcases or your wall-to-wall carpeting in order to get ample supply of formaldehyde.

When you vape, only user error (a nasty dry hit) will produce formaldehyde.

Sadly, they are not the only ones. Not that I think that it really matters. It's never been about protecting children.

*sigh*

Careful there, don't let their lies get to you. They're not marketing to children and we know it. That label isn't meant for children, just like the flavors aren't.

Seriously, you are going to use water on fish?

That is disgusting. You can only hope that those that voted for it will someday need to use it. Always tax the minority so the majority go along with it.

I.... Never mind.
