Well this is interesting, It appears the FDA funded research study re low nicotine cigs that are in the approval process. So how can they basically ban vaping which can reduce or eliminate nicotine altogether, if chosen. This is an excerpt from that trial:

    Conclusions
In this 6-week study, reduced-nicotine cigarettes versus standard-nicotine cigarettes reduced nicotine exposure and dependence and the number of cigarettes smoked. (Funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse and the Food and Drug Administration Center for tobacco Products; ClinicalTrials.gov number, NCT01681875.)

New ‘low-nicotine’ cigarette could help smokers kick habit

Well, first thing that pops into my mind- how will it help if they still have all the additives that make/keep you addicted? I'd probably just smoke twice as many trying to keep my nic level up.

Re Provape having it made in the safety dept, yes but not in the millions for an application. This is from their newsletter: ( just bought 3 more, just in case, lol)
Got my 3rd. From their "blemished" sale page - $40. Honestly, can't find a scratch on it. It's a v2.5 and I'm thinking they're just dumping new stock at massive discounts.

It's a U.S. company and these things truly last forever. If these fine people are headed for the soup line then I may as well contribute.

Just FYI Provape started selling the P2.5 for as low as $30 well before the deeming was announced.

    ohmagosh...

It's NOT about the nicotine

...and sadly, the majority of the public will probably believe that this will help them.

If it was about the nic, patches and gum would be the solution, and we know it's not. This nic propaganda has been around so long now people think that is the problem which it isn't.

Well, at least your Senator responded. I've sent the CASAA calls to action twice, and sent my representative a separate letter, all in early May, around the 9th or 10th. Here we are 5+ weeks later, and not a single response. I guess I know who I'm NOT voting for in November.

I got two snail mail letters from another Senator that actually acknowledged I had a grasp of the issue. I didn't hear back from the Rep. for my district, but I discovered he has been a supporter of the Cole/Bishop Amendment since 5/2015.

While I sent two email through CASAA to the White House and didn't get a response, I'm now on their email list. I don't care why Obama is going to Yosemite.

I suspect some people here are confusing Costa Rica with Puerto Rico. The former is a county in Central America while the latter is an island in the Carribean that's an unincorporated US territory currently in the grips of a government debt crisis, more or less to the US what Greece has been to the EU.

Last Week Tonight, with John Oliver, has a clip up on youtube about how the US "helped" Puerto Rico get into the mess they're in.

I think you may be right, they're like middle school students sharing test answers, "just change it a little bit and no one will be able to tell". What's most awful is that Peters is also on the Committee for Homeland Security and Governments Affairs. The last email I got from him announced his FB cover photo contest.

Nope. I was surprised the DWMHA hadn't sent in their photo of the billboard, they were so proud. Things change fast, LOL!

I tried to send Senator Peters another email today and it wasn't accepted by his website. It said there was a security risk in my message. I don't think it likes copy and paste from elsewhere. In the long run, it's probably a good thing it didn't go through. I may have said a few things I would regret later.

Although he was disbarred and paid a fine for perjury as a result of a subsequent law suit regarding Paula Jones - much of which came up during the impeachment. But yeah, acquitted by the Senate....
And just think, if elected, Hillary wants to "put him in charge of the economy".
    A disbarred lawyer.
    Yup, that'll work well...
