Signed.

I am very skeptical about a favorable decision for the industry via judicial route. Too much deference to the FDA by the courts (no wonder the agency top personnel talk and walk like they had a carrot in their azzes). Really pompous, lying sac of you know fact.

I am much more hopeful regarding possible legislative action that would relax some of the draconian FDA rules that were clearly drafted to eliminate an entire industry. At the very least, we now have a chance.

@kas122461, you asked what I said on greatagain.gov. I spoke to the role of vaping in THR, public health, and a sentence on my own journey to quit smoking. I included a few words on the U.K. Royal College study, to emphasize vaping's relative safety. And, I added a bit about the economic impact of the regs, the extraordinary degree of government overreach, and the waste of resources Deeming represents. Finally, I asked that the regs are repealed. At most, 100 words.

Will it get lost in the shuffle? Dunno. It might. But maybe it won't. It felt like something concrete that I could do. HTH!

I didn't vote for him, but hey. I almost feel sorry for the guy now. He's got so many people trying to get his ear. One faction thinks the priority should be to criminalise abortion and beat back the monstrous invasion of Gay, other factions think the national debt or gun rights are more important. Some want him to drop bombs on the world, others want him to pull back from foreign entanglements. March millions of people across the border or court the Hispanic vote. The list is long and the voices are loud.

Somewhere in that mess is us. We are telling him vaping is good and gets people off smoking and encourages small business and stop regulatory overreach, another faction is telling him vaping is demonic and turns children into addicts and will take away a huge pot of money that he needs to implement some of his expensive campaign promises.

No telling if our pleas will even reach him. We don't have corporations and lobbyists and billionaires and politicians. Well maybe a few politicians. If it does cross his desk there's at least a chance he will decide in our favor. I'll sign the petitions anyway in case it helps.

However, given the dysfunction in just getting a transition team together to actually work, I'd say anything that shows up will go to the recycle bin before it receives any attention.

And yes, in relation to all the other issues to be settled in this country this one is not high on the list. Even by me. No point worrying about vaping if everything else in the US goes down the tubes. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst was never more appropriate.

Just Me.

But I'm not sure if there is Dysfunction in the Transition Team or Not? The Media, in General, hasn't tried to cast Trump in a very good light. But I imagine that is too be Expected. And Trump has brought a Lot of this On Himself.

That, and did Anyone on the Trump "Team" really think they would be Doing Anything on Nov 9th?

Yeah, I think they were just as surprised as everyone else. Sorta like expecting Kate Upton to accept that offer of spending the weekend with you.

Yep. And I think for just about Everyone, it wasn't if Trump was going to Lose, it was How Much was he going to Lose By?

Whereas I would say that the Clinton Team had many of the Key Positions all but Filled. And all she needed to do was to due a Quick Victory Lap and then start Naming people.

Clinton knows Washington Inside and Out. And would have gotten the Support from the General Media. I believe that Trump has been to the Capitol Once. And that was when he meet with Obama as the President Elect.

LOL.
