I see in the news someone blew their face up with an ecig. So the ecig uneducated public says they're dangerous, LOL. And the other one set his pocket on fire. I guess that's reason enough to ban those nasty things. The pocket dude is going to sue the ecig company. What I'd like to know is did he turn it off before he put it in his pocket? Was his thigh pressing on the button? People are so stupid.

Yes. The media use such opportunities to demonize ecigs but also you have to believe that such graphic presentations might also be a wake up call for some vapers.
They can be dangerous, stuff happens. Regardless of what you think, stuff can happen to you.
If someone sues and their lawyers can prove negligence or some such, more power to them.
Not say'n that the Media hasn't ever Demonized a story that includes e-Cigarettes. Far from it. But many times the Media just using what is Available to Hype It into something they think you will Read/Click On.
When Analytics are used as a Basis for Advertising Charges, I'm not sure why it would be any Different.

Looks like an rx200 or rx200s so there is probably a 6th around somewhere and no sign of a battery case = 3 spare batteries and some loose change jingling around in a pocket (maybe same pocket as the mod).
u r correct actually. just checked the battery covers on my dual battery rx2/3 and rx200s. that silver spot in the center of that cover is only on the 2 battery cover of the rx2/3.
the 2 burnt cells were probably loose in his pocket with the rest of the burnt items and the 2 brown cells likely came out of the mod

I can't totally knock the news media on this one. How often can you capture something that dramatic happening in really nice HD video from 2 views?

Hate to say i agree, but you are dead on. If he didn't vape, he wouldn't have nearly BBQ'ed his nads.

I don't care, but at a glance it looks like he had a 3 batt mod, 2 extra batteries and change in his pocket. Not smart.
Having said all that, who the hell can fit a Releaux with an atty and extra batteries in a front pocket anyways?!?!
