The more I think about it, the more I believe there will be an easily accessible underground market for rebuildable and hobby hardware. And it most likely won't get policed much if at all.
Why do I believe this? Because there really is no need to. IMHO- the primary goal of the regs are to stop widespread availability of everything. Put up a large barrier of entry for the masses. Remove the products they don't like from easy access.
Does anyone think anybody will really care about the creative folks who skirt the regs and exploit grey areas? Probably not if the mainstream market is obliterated and handed over to big tobacco. That's the real mission.
Hobbiests will lurk in the shadows and continue their hobby. The vast majority of vapers don't want to tinker and won't. They just want juice, a tank, and disposable atomizers in a blister pack. Take that away and the vast majority will give up or use whatever is on the shelf (assuming it's effective).

I don't tweet, but I just did some Google stalking....NADA...nothing...zilch from any "celebrities". Oddly enough, not even Bruno Mars who owns stock in Blu.
I know a lot are saying no, but, these are the same ones here who also said the FDA would never go after and try to regulate equipment, mods, batteries, wire, accessories..... only nic-eliquid and nic..... so... who really knows at this point would be an honest answer. If you are in doubt stock up, you will always use it anyways. I would rater be safe than sorry, fortunately though we have a time frame for the experts and those in the know sort things out with this and inform us of the actual facts.
Speaking of, what we really need is John Oliver to do a segment on this. In fact, I'd say his show is the single best thing that could happen at this point. His show hits the exact demo that we need, and Washington takes notice when he does a segment. My two cents- I think everyone should put their efforts into trying to get one show/person to address it instead of spreading out the efforts.
But again- we need a leader. Waking up on day 5...I cannot fathom how there is not someone rallying everyone to a single action yet. I think we need to elect Phil Busardo as our president first, and go from there. That's my vote anyway. Let's get him out of his day job and put him to work full time on this. We need a leader who can inspire everyone, and I can't think of anyone better for the job.
And the market will likely be run by teens.... just opposite of what the FDA "says" it is trying to stop.
Take any "good cause" > pass it through the government prism > and you get 180° opposite of what was intended. Cure poverty = institutionize poverty. Housing for everyone = 2008. Better Education = USA 17th (or lower) in industrialized nations. War on Drugs = go to your nearest elementary school.
Exactly my point, these are busy people, if there not aware, we help them be aware
Ok maybe I am being naive, but I was kinda sorta counting on CASAA and my marching orders, give or take a RAMdom emailing of local representitives.
