They stopped FT from shipping 18650s about 2-3 years ago.....I'm skeptical of this. fast tech sells everything from Sports gear to phone accessories.

I also do not take rubber checks.Damn... All I have is a 2-Party, Post Dated Check from a Off Shore Holding Company. And I think I left my I.D. in my Hotel Room.
Yes, it has loosened back up since then, but there was a time about 2-3 years ago when FT stopped shipping ANYTHING with a battery except for via Singapore post.Funny. I bought some batteries from FT about 3 Months ago. Actually got to me Quicker than their Normal shipping.
Out of curiosity, did they declare them as batteries? As for faster shipping, you mean you got them about a week ago then?Funny. I bought some Batteries from FT about 3 Months ago. Actually got to me Quicker than their Normal shipping.

I'm getting a feeling your checks are highly regarded at many local locations. Enough that they're featured on the wall, with your name and likeness.Oh I can Ensure you that the Check is Good. And it is drawn off a Highly Legitimate Holding Company.

It is an amendment to the Agriculture Appropriations Bill for 2017, and was introduced by Cole (author of HR2058). This bill appropriates money to various agencies, which includes the FDA.
Here's a link straight to the Appropriations Committee website that lists the amendments: Committee Approves the Fiscal Year 2017 Agriculture Appropriations Bill | Committee on Appropriations, U.S. House of Representatives
The Full Bill Report (last link on the page) is interesting when you do a search for the word "tobacco".
From what I'm hearing/reading, HR2058 is somewhat in a limbo state pending the amendment making it through the House and Senate as a rider on the Appropriations bill. I think it is common to attach these things to appropriations bills, because if they can make it through the entire process and to the President's desk, the lack of a line-item veto means that he'd have to reject the entire bill if he was really hell-bent on killing an amendment.

I don't know if this has been brought up before on this thread but there's one thing I was thinking about. If this thing does go thru then we can forget free/$3-$5 shipping charges. I started using snus before the PACT act and was paying around $5 to have snus shipped via usps. When PACT was approved, usps stopped carrying tobacco products and they could only ship UPS with adult signature required. Shipping charges went from around $15 for shipping in the US and $30-$40 for overseas shipping. I have to think that we are looking at the same type of thing.
If it is vaping hardware it is irrelevant how you intend to use it as I understand it under the current regs.
Flavorings and PG/VG and Batteries it might work though.

Yes, I know they do again now. The point I was trying to make was when the US wanted to stop batteries a couple years back, they did! They all but but froze battery shipments from China for quite a while. So.... if they could do it (successfully) with batteries, why couldnt they stop the bulk of vape gear from coming in?FT is selling batteries again, Milke. They found a new shipper or something, but they do sell them.
