Funny. I bought some batteries from FT about 3 Months ago. Actually got to me Quicker than their Normal shipping.
Yes, it has loosened back up since then, but there was a time about 2-3 years ago when FT stopped shipping ANYTHING with a battery except for via Singapore post.

ETA: that was in response to the US forbidding it via airmail. They tried to sneak it through for a while. I got one batch that was wrapped in tinfoil in an effort to disguise them, but shortly after that they totally stopped trying.

Oh I can Ensure you that the Check is Good. And it is drawn off a Highly Legitimate Holding Company.

NSF Limited, The Cayman Islands.
I'm getting a feeling your checks are highly regarded at many local locations. Enough that they're featured on the wall, with your name and likeness.

It is an amendment to the Agriculture Appropriations Bill for 2017, and was introduced by Cole (author of HR2058). This bill appropriates money to various agencies, which includes the FDA.

Here's a link straight to the Appropriations Committee website that lists the amendments: Committee Approves the Fiscal Year 2017 Agriculture Appropriations Bill | Committee on Appropriations, U.S. House of Representatives

The Full Bill Report (last link on the page) is interesting when you do a search for the word "tobacco".

From what I'm hearing/reading, HR2058 is somewhat in a limbo state pending the amendment making it through the House and Senate as a rider on the Appropriations bill. I think it is common to attach these things to appropriations bills, because if they can make it through the entire process and to the President's desk, the lack of a line-item veto means that he'd have to reject the entire bill if he was really hell-bent on killing an amendment.

This is my understanding also. I wrote to my representative in support of the Agriculture Appropriations bill because the author, Rep. Cole, believes that this rider has now a better chance of passing than the original HR 2058 (which will also most likely be vetoed by the President). The rider can't be vetoed unless the President chooses to veto the entire bill, which is much harder for him to do. And the rider is somewhat bipartisan--it's sponsored by Cole and Bishop (Democrat).

Being Famous has Many Forms.

But back to the FDA... Yes, the FDA can/will work Closely with the US Customs. But a Simpler Approach would be to Dredge Up some Old Law holding CC Companies legally accountable for certain types of transactions.

Because when you use a CC, isn't the CC Company the Legal Owner of the what you bought Until you pay your CC Bill?

I don't know if this has been brought up before on this thread but there's one thing I was thinking about. If this thing does go thru then we can forget free/$3-$5 shipping charges. I started using snus before the PACT act and was paying around $5 to have snus shipped via usps. When PACT was approved, usps stopped carrying tobacco products and they could only ship UPS with adult signature required. Shipping charges went from around $15 for shipping in the US and $30-$40 for overseas shipping. I have to think that we are looking at the same type of thing.

But e-cigs are specifally excluded from PACT, hit! They would have to amend PACT--good luck with that.

If it is vaping hardware it is irrelevant how you intend to use it as I understand it under the current regs.
Flavorings and PG/VG and Batteries it might work though.

Ah no, mods and attys would / could be used for the use of other things and as long as the proper labeling as mentioned, they already are being sold as such for medical use, juice on the other hand would have to be labeled as no nic and as mentioned before, their not going to ban the internet / sale of pg/vg and flavoring unless you are selling other tobacco products and they are for the intent to use as such.
What your not realizing is, their estimate of 5000 hours PER application, that doesn't include the risk assessment testing either, how do you get ALL this done in 24 months ? and then of course their going to step up internet / customs security ? your talking billions of tax payers money, not application / testing money
There "business" planning is piss poor at best considering were
$19,188,102,413,249 - Debt as of May 2016
Litigation and lobbying we go .....................

FT is selling batteries again, Milke. They found a new shipper or something, but they do sell them.
Yes, I know they do again now. The point I was trying to make was when the US wanted to stop batteries a couple years back, they did! They all but but froze battery shipments from China for quite a while. So.... if they could do it (successfully) with batteries, why couldnt they stop the bulk of vape gear from coming in?

Dont underestimate the power/ability of US Customs and the US Postal service to intervene when/where they choose.
