Seriously, pure nicotine(1000mg/ml) is no joke. That site doesn't even have any warnings on it...

Most people start with a 100mg/ml nic base, still need to be cautious, but not likely to kill an adult.

And I believe that, per ECF rules, we're not even allow to discuss it here. The stuff is deadly and can only be used in specially equipped labs--never at home.
Forum Rules
35e. The use of 'Pure Nicotine' cannot be discussed (in detail) on public forums on ECF (trade forums are exempt) due to the hazard [1] - see Notes below. That is to say, it can be mentioned in passing but not discussed at length especially as regards mixing.

Where's any sense of outrage? The only somewhat strong language defends some aspects of the deeming.

The Madvapes team strongly believes that: (i) standardized testing of e-liquids and ingredients, (ii) quality control standards with batch testing and dating, (iii) age verification, and (iv) restrictions on marketing to minors are important features of any common sense regulation.

While they are merely "disappointed" with other aspects.

However, we are disappointed that in the recently published FDA regulations, as the only realistic pathway to market for an ENDS product is the pre-market tobacco application (PMTA) process.

We are further disappointed that the FDA’s new regulations prohibit free sampling which is very important key to many who wish to taste various e-liquids prior to deciding on a flavor that is best for them.

Mild, ineffective and not likely to move anybody much who's been unaware of what's been happening, nor does it convey any sense of alarm regarding what's about to happen.

I've always idealized Australia as the land of fierce anti-authoritianists--people with a low tolerance for being told what to do.
Oh really? Know what happened to their guns? Look it up.

Nic, it's not what they say--it's what they do. Give people a chance. I've seen many screamers expressing their outrage loudly and freely and, in the end, accomplishing nothing. ;)
It'll probably make people think that anybody who's alarmed about it is overreacting, since they already heard otherwise from the expert vendor.

Yep, weak sauce. We desperately need an "I am paying for this microphone, Mr. Green!" sound bite.

No need to panic or be concerned, there are other people taking care of this.

If anyone finds a concise video about the deeming regs that doesn't open with a bearded guy in a baseball cap, someone saying the equivalent of "Yo vapers!" or someone taking a big hit off of a mod, please let me know. There seems to be very few and I would like to send videos to my non-vaping friends.

I think we need to find a way to align with the cigar industry

Well, we are aligned with them, whether we want to or not. We're in the same boat--which is a good thing. They have lobbyists and many congress people like cigars. ;)

I'm trying to make my non-vaping/non-tobacco using friends aware that this is an issue that concerns them. The FDA overreach is something everyone needs to know about. Technically, they could propose similar regulations on products containing caffeine, sugar, salt...anything some group considers a threat to children.

Unless we get a new administration that will undo the damage--or at least some of the damage...

Sugar? They are working on it, darling:

Yes, sugar is being set up to be targeted here (following the same script as TC) ;)

And, apparently, using the same drugs... There must be a serious surplus or varenicline all over the world.

See the study I mentioned above--"The study was carried out by researchers from the Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, and SRI International in California. Funding was provided by the Australian Research Council, National Health & Medical Research Council, and the National Institute of Health."

"Varenicline targets what are known as the "reward pathways" of the brain. These are areas that respond to certain stimuli, which can range from illegal drugs, sex or gambling to sugary foods."
I prefer some of the other stimuli, thank you

Right.:)

The following serious adverse reactions were reported in postmarketing experience and are discussed in greater detail in other sections of the labeling:
