Im not saying I like it. What I am saying is that its strategy.

Lies and bull do shape our world. What do you think politics is? The FDA deeming is even rabid proof itself that Im right.

Im not going to be pollyanna and play nice with messaging. Why should we? The FDA didnt. They trot out "for the children". We should as well. It is long past time to turn the tables and use their misinformation against them in the most jaw dropping ways necessary.

If that takes commercials about a little kid burying his parent then yeah, Im all for it. Not because I like it. But because it works.

I always felt so bad for that Indian. It really shaped my thinking when I was young. I still hate littering to this day.

When I smoked I would never throw a .... on the ground.
Or out a car window.

In fact, when someone in front of me threw a .... out their car window...
I would high beam them...

And beside me would probably be an empty Coke can with at least one .... in it.
And yeah, my car would not smell that great.

Littering is one of the most selfish and self-absorbed things a person can do.

I think TV ads are getting very expensive at this point in USA election campaigns, national and state/local, and will continue to get more expensive.

I do absolutely agree with you that truth carries more weight by far.

Think of this arguement tho. "Guns don't kill people. People kill people." It is an absolutely true statement. The NRA has rallied behind it. Nowhere in that message does it mention the bullet was the actual killer, or the fact that without the gun or bullet it may not have happend. Truth is different to different folks.

Its perspective that gets shaped. We can always choose a new perspective based on new information. If that new truth is more valid than our past truth (actually our past personal history) says, then perspective shifts.

Probably should have been "so they can watch videos of you playing from their hospital beds."

If you haven't seen the commercials, the tips are "unrelated" to smoking. Things like talk close to the incubator hole so your baby can hear you, from a mother who smoked during pregnancy.

It would just get lost in the numerous commercials already demonizing cigarettes.....they will ignore the vaper part and see only how bad cigarettes are.
