And those who gave the FDA the gun and urged them to use it? What about them?

I reflected that in my edit. They are complicit in it. Its about creating and controlling ONE large narrative and directing message. It applies to any and all that support the FDA.

I saw the post that was in response to the other crap storm that was brewing. So, yes, I saw the post. Nothing has been deleted....

Just a warning to NOT Carry on in the vein that is struggling to go awry.

Don't read into it any more than is intended.

So did the post that you said 'Very well put. Thank you.' You don't see that??

I didn't. I read her post (which was a continuation and an attempt to censor) and your reply. Then your reply to me. There's nothing to 'read into'. It's there for all to see.

I read something about because many reps smoke cigars, there are already things popping up to try to change the regs for cigars.

One of those things 'popping up' is the Cole/Bishop amendment - which is why I said earlier - that may be more 'convincing' to many representatives than the grandfather date - which would be fine with me :- )

When I was in school and then in college, there were no warnings about the dangers of BT/cigarettes. I found out much later that BT and the government knew about the dangers, studies had been done, but if those facts were being made known in the news at the time, it was not enough to catch my attention at all. I didn't start smoking until I was in college -- I was dorm'd with 2 gals who both smoked, and it happened to be the smallest dorm room on the campus (weird, I know). I was getting sick from all the smoke in the room, and they told me that if I was also a smoker it would not bother me because I'd be used to it. And they were right. They got me started, and the college tacitly encouraged that by rooming smokers and non-smokers without even asking.

(Hmmm, the college should have known about the dangers of cigarettes even if I didn't ... wonder if I should sue them for promoting 40 yrs of addiction ... could be a way to raise some money to fight the FDA ....)
BTW - If anyone can Think of Something that could be Added to this List, by All Means, Please Post it.

---------------

I Still think People could be...

Contacting any e-Cigarette Website telling them to Post Links to SFATA, CASAA, Deeming/PMTA Docs.
Contacting any e-Cigarette Website and asking them if they Are or Plane to Donate to a Group like SFATA, CASAA, etc.?
Contact their Reps and Demand a Clear Answer about where they stand on the Ag Amendment/HR2058.
Contact the FDA Directly and tell them Exactly what You think about Deeming and the Future of e-Cigarettes.
Send a Letter to their Local Papers telling their Story/Views and say you want it Published in the Opinion Section.
Write a Letter to any Sympathetic Rep like Burr or Hunter.
Write a Letter to their Reps and Ask if the Congressional Review Act is going to be Used on "Deeming". And if Not, Why?
Make a Donation, No Matter How Small, to CASAA or SFATA or AEMSA.
Consider getting Local B&M involved in Some Kind of Organized Rally or Get-together.
Consider getting Local B&M to get Any Type of Petition or Signature List going to send to a State Rep.
Spread any Positive Video, Study, Article on Social Networks.
Spread any Positive Video, Study, Article via e-Mail CC's and BCC's.
Tell people you Send thing to Not Just Read it, but to Also Pass it On.
This may be included in "contact their reps" but making phone calls or even personal visits to your congressional representatives' offices will get more attention that e-mails which almost always seem to generate canned non-responses.

Don't hold me to it but I seem to remember reading, somewhere in that 499 pages of garbage, that user fees was the one bone the FDA threw to us. That, at least for the time being, there wouldn't be any user fees, just the initial application fee plus all the testing fees. o_O I'll see if I can track it down.

Interesting. Since I finally have the correct name as in user fees I should have checked the Final first. HA! My brain! I just searched the 134 pages of the Final published in the Registry on 5/10/16. Better triple check me /lol but no waiver of user fees. Matter of fact:

Page 104 (EDIT: better to read the entire page 104 for any hope of context and then maybe take a long walk on the beach. /lol /humor)

(The inclusion of user fees in these
estimates will cause costs to be
overstated for manufactures and
importers who also manufacture
currently regulated products. In
addition, costs will vary by firm size as
user fees are based on market share).
Estimated costs per ENDS manufacturer
or importer
are $827,000 to $1.21
million in the first year, $832,000 to
$1.21 million in the second year, and
$22,000 to $64,000 in subsequent years.

Listen, I know the canned responses from our reps is laughable but look at them this way. They are confirmation they received your comment. And while the rep him/herself likely will not read it, his/her staff will at least know what it is about and report any trends they see in their mail.

Lol I don't blame you. I started looking and within 15 minutes my eyes were crossing. Then I got distracted by the serious lack of authorized AW IMR dealers in the states that aren't vape shops. :p
