Just in case you guys have not seen this yet.

Just what I needed...............to piss me off even further.

This Video reveals it all.

Every mouth that opens with an opinion on Why this regulation should take place, Spews absolute nonsense and illogical Babble.

Mitch Zeller could have promoted this industry as the Greatest Step Forward in the Battle against Combustible tobacco...............However he is so Single Sighted in his Battle, He only sees the Finest Tool Created as an Obstacle to be shoved aside.

Not one Lung Cancer group should be against Vapor products, however due to Cash Flow they ALL must take a stand against the Very Products that would Save the Lives they Solicit Help for.
In the Non-profit portion of the Medical care industry - EVERY Group suffers this Same Mentality. We Must have the Cash flow to complete our mission.

People, Get out of the way, and We will do everything possible to Complete it for you.
Want to help - Find optional ways to raise money for the cause.

Moneys from Big Pharmaceutical Companies Has not substantially Slowed Big tobacco to Date, with your Help, it has simply made BP Richer.

For the Children?
Stop Blaming the Products and place responsibility on Controlling the Children.........Good Luck!

"Mitch Zeller could have promoted this industry as the Greatest Step Forward in the Battle against Combustible Tobacco.." and been hailed a hero for fighting for public health....instead he will only be remembered as the a&s hat that he is and for the worst failure of protection for public health.
Remember, when the administration changes(per upcoming election) it is usually cause to replace some of these 'figure heads' that have appointed positions. It is up to American voters to place the right person in office for that job.... (if there is one).

I'm happy with the flavors I have. I haven't had, or wanted, a cigarette in almost 4 years. But honestly I wonder if I'm not the only one having trouble dealing with this. A big button for me emotionally is trying to do everything right, everything you can think of, and still getting punished.

I have worked for the government for 27 years now - I don't mean to add to the doom and gloom but I've seen firsthand how government works. And it's a joke. You can do everything right, yet somehow you still lose. When there is a will there is a way (BM), so don't lose hope. I fully intend to do what I need to in order to stay healthy and keep off cigs. It's just not worth it, and that's exactly what they want you to do. I've learned in my 27 years of experience with the government, when they do all things a s s backwards, and you feel like you're banging your head against they wall trying to make them see common sense, to finally yes them to death and then find an alternate route or loophole. 3 more years and I'm out. Can't come soon enough.

Let the bullets fly and the bodies hit the floor. The FDA war against vapor products will not end well. The fight has just begun, this is about our health and freedom to choose a better path.

Out of curiosity, I posted on several of my private facebook groups, non vape related, asking people what they knew of the deeming regs, what they think, etc...

Most people don't have a clue. A few say they think ecigs are good, but should only be used to wean off of regular cigs ("otherwise they don't do any good"). They have absolutely no idea that the regulations are a de facto ban, and don't really care for that matter. They also think you can vape 'the other thing' in ecigs and that that's what most people are doing. Sigh.

Also, big takeaway for most seems to be, 'regulated just like cigarettes'. Which they all think is an awesome idea. Not understanding that all cigarettes currently on the market were grandfathered in and ecigs won't be.

About the only media they have seen that even discusses that this regulation favors BT is the silly Samantha Bee video.

I have posted several things on FB without any likes. Last night (or the night before - can't remember which) I posted the video that Mowgli posted here. I wrote in the post something to the effect of "Unfortunately, the FDA has not just done this with e-cigs - they've done it with medications and have allowed pesticides and all that crap in our food - apparently, FDA is owned by Big Pharma and Big Tobacco". I FINALLY had some response and people agreeing with me.

So maybe if we put that spin on it - i.e. group it in with meds and foods, people will finally GET it. People are extremely concerned with health, i.e. food, medicines and it seems to be a big issue - and most know that it all comes down to the FDA regarding those issues.

The FDA war against vapor products will not end well.

That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ENDS, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government...

I love this sentiment, and think in a normal world it would be the logical end result.
Bullets flying and bodies hitting the floor.

But if you watch Dallas Buyer's Club...

In the end, the public bends over and takes it.
And then they whine and cry about how much it hurts.

And nobody else cares, as long as they aren't the ones bending over.
This entire thing is only a symptom of the giant dildo that is coming for all of us.

Sounds crazy, right?
Yeah, it is.

The only answer is to wake up.
Wake up and vote out every one of them.

Keep voting the incumbents out until no one is willing to run for office...
Except those who really want to do it for the right reasons...

I need a couple more martinis.
Later.

Do you belong to any of the vaping groups? Or to CASAA on fb. I usually just read but loads of info there.

Don't tread on me, we need to take a very serious stand on this one. There is more at stake than just vaping. This is about a government appointed agency gone mad with power, on a self appointed crusade...ignoring facts and science.

Oh man. Is this going to be like attending driver's ed again? And will I have to show I can vape correctly with both a regulated AND a mech mod?

The paragraph I quoted was out of context. The study was on dual use - people who were vaping, but still smoking. Some of the problems identified were people finding ecigs too much of a hassle and grabbing a cigarette in certain situations, like when stressed, after meals etc. The counseling suggestion was to help people keep vaping and learn to avoid what triggers tobacco use.

Yes, I belong to CASAA on FB and a few vaping groups. But I was talking about posting to my own FB page regarding the FDA deeming, etc. None of my 1400 friends/acquaintances on FB were "liking" the posts or commenting on them until I added the comments about FDA and drugs/food. So NOW they are understanding what I'm talking about - how FDA is over-reaching regarding e-cigs, as they know the FDA does the same with drugs and food and cares less about people's health.

Somewhere out there
BTW I got a response from my Senator Bill Nelson Dem FL. He gave me a basic run down of the deeming, which I already knew, DUH. And said nothing either way about supporting HR 2058 or the Cole Bishop amendment. He did say he would keep me updated. RIGHT! I have voted for him many times. He is one of the reasons we need term limits. He has been in the senate way too long.
My senator basically said the same to me but did say he would keep my concerns in mind if it came up for a vote in the Senate.

Regardless of Accomplishments or Motivation, I am thankful for the Senators Voice!
Only wish I could post a comment to thank him.

After he was interviewed by Vicki the first time I sent him an email. Unlike most other legislators I've come across, you don't have to be one of his constituents to send him a message (although it notes that you won't get an answer).

Email Ron - Ron Johnson

I also sent a message to Senate committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs that he chairs.
