That's OK. I didn't even get a Dear Friend letter from either of my US State Senators. BUT, I did get an email of support from my local congressman who, while not on the Ag committee, was aware of the issue and intended to support action to changes the current form of the regulations to protect jobs in the industry (I guess vapers dying from returning to cigs is a lower priority than those jobs, but whatever). So there's that.

Personally I would not buy a new eliquid without trying it first anymore, wasted way too much money buying eliquid that sounded fantastic only to be completely gacked out by it once I tried it, but, I have tried flavors that I did not think I would like but ended up loving. So I think it will hurt shops not to be able to let people try it first.

I wasn't trying to say I believed not being able to provide samples wouldn't hurt shops, I also try new stuff before hand any time I'm buying from a B&M.

I was trying to say I doubt there are many people trying juice who didn't come in without the intent of buying juice. Whereas stores who are sampling alcohol may get some people tasting to make a decision, but they are primarily trying to sway people who weren't intending to buy alcohol, to purchase alcohol anyway.

And I just saw a commercial advertising "free nicotine patches or free "quit smoking" medication at ........com" (don't remember who sponsored the ad). So I guess that's allowed but no free e-cigs or juices. Whatever. I'm sick of the bs. Seriously sick of it. Fat chance in he!! that they'll stop us - this is our lives we are talking about.

MBV is being pro-active. I have three e-cig orders in transit to me as we speak, last one placed an hour ago.

So far, only MBV and Avail Vapor from Virginia refuse to ship to CA--that I know of. I can't really blame them, it's their business and they have to decide what to do with this legislative mess, but I think that it's a bit premature. The legislation in CA doesn't address online purchases specifically and so far, it's been business as usual. But then again, it's only been two days of the new laws, so who knows.

That said, why can't they just ship those orders with adult signature required? That's the simplest solution if they are worried. It's just asinine.

No doubt in my mind that statistics ( and BT's revenue increases ) will show the link clearly. So let's make sure that everything that's being said and posted now is properly archived. Vapers reverting to smoking and suffering from health issues that recur after switching - document it.

Yes, the ANTZ will make up all sorts of lies again to explain that increase in smokers. They will even have the nerve to use it as an excuse to ask for even more funding. BT and BP won't mind. With their profits back to where they should be ( from their point of view ) , they got some crumbs to spare for their minions.

But a lawyer knocking on the FDA's door - representing a few dozen ex-vapers now smokers - asking for reimbursement of medical bills plus a few bucks punitive damages...

You see, it's all about money.

I wouldn't. If 200,000 vapers wrote in with a positive spin on their questions. They would simply report that as they received 200,000 responses to their questions and NOT indicate that they were positive but definitely mislead the public into believing that they were all negative. Cause that's how they roll. Misleading and deceiving the public about e-cigs has been their game play since e cigs came up on their radar.

Shipping in that manor would meet FDA regulation, but may not meet Cal tobacco Codes. You might be Assuming under the Wrong set of Laws.
