I have been saying that forever.

I rather severely under reported any use of anything I was A SAINT. Even back then I was like, "I am SO sorry government, that is just none of your business."

You're welcome.

I could see a.... snowflaky teen wanting to "look cool" to the government even if they had never even had one puff.

If all teens had any sense, usage of all items would drop to zero. Then the government would have to use lie detector tests and we all know those don't work.

Well hopefully we all know.

I would wait for you know, our youth to rise up and whatnot but they were effectively given participation trophies to RISE UP to do NOTHING. I mean it, I have now WORKED with some millennials and snowflakes IN their first job (and like some were OMG ONLY children) and so far, I want to punch them in the head, mostly.
When I was a kid I was ignorant. Kid's today are worse than ignorant. They're brainwashed and dangerous! I feel sorry for them.

Some of them had good parents. I had more sense than the average teen but I lived in a lot of places.

My son's first serious full time job they are BEGGING him to become a manager because he knows what he is about. It's sad really. When I lectured that coworker like I would have lectured my kid any day of the week (boring tale) it was like cutting off the head of a kitten. But, she LEARNED something. Something like, "Some people will not tolerate lies right to their damn FACE."

They can learn however. It just would be so much better if they weren't brainwashed idiots. Sigh. Because it really feels like kicking idk a daisy to the side of the head.

Honestly if teens are giving false positives, I don't think it's to "look cool" to the government. It is probably more sinister than that. Given the mean spirited sense of humor teens have always had, I could see them giving false positives with the specific intent to cause harm to the vaping industry as a sick little joke. Then they will be all be laughing as things get banned.

Most teens I know don't have that many governmental opinions. IDK if that's fair or not and if it was due to the like, fact that my husband will not SHUT UP about politics that my son got interested fairly young. LOL, one Halloween he handed out candy and stated to every kid, "Vote for Gary Johnson."

I don't think he told the government on the survey what all drugs he did and etc., but when he was on probation (I think it might have been motivated by terror, kinda) he WAS honest about what things he had done. As his mom I was pretty impressed frankly because it was a LONG list including some items I had never heard of, and I was like "Wow, that's a lot to get into trouble FINALLY, as a matter of fact." My mom also later asked me if I 'knew" about them, as if I were some sort of "co-conspirator" of sorts. I was like, "Um, no Mom, if you look at the dates, it was after WE kicked him out of the house and you ushered him in. So no, I was not aware. I can tell you the list of drugs *I* took under your supervision though if you'd like, as, you know a teen."

To be fair, I was sort of mad at her. And also the kid. LOL.

Oh well nobody lost an eye OH HOLY GOODNESS SOMEONE DID!!! The arresting OFFICER like had his eye kicked out by another perp, someone in stilettos who was very drunk! (He had no police manner I guess.)

Anyway, I had to uncomfortably tell my kid repeatedly that no one DESERVED to lose and eye, because well no one does but if ANYONE was perhaps deserving....

Well it was all a long time ago. I'm a bit... I'm glad I see my doc Friday. Sorry.

I sincerely doubt that teens are saying "Yes, I vape" as part of a cunning plan to kill the industry. Saying it to screw with a government study? Sure.

Don't get me wrong, I am not saying it is a coordinated effort or a cunning plan. More of they are sitting there filling it out and just thought it would be funny to give false positives (not trying to be cool but to be funny). Then later when something gets banned, they will laugh and brag to one another how they helped do that by saying they were using when they weren't.

The scary issue is they can vote at 18.
I thought their brains weren't fully developed until the 20s...

Yeah it's like 24 and I believe it. I wouldn't be against raising the voting age, drinking age, and smoking age to 24, unless active in the military. I have always been of the mind set that if you are putting your life on the line for your country, you deserve a cold beer.

You can also change your gender assignment. Legally, and rather permanently.

I freaking find THAT the most terrifying one of all.

The shooting and tanks and whatnot at 18 is bad too, but at least then there is usually someone older like, in charge. Maybe. Sometimes.

I think gender reassignment should be reserved for like 28 to be on the safe side. I would get crucified if I ever said that to the alphabet folks (they're worse than "deaf culture' about the whole assimilation thing, I personally think) but like, HAVE YOU SEEN ONE of those SURGERIES OMG.

One of the key moments in our son's journey occurred in high school biology. His all too hot teacher told the class that if they wanted to experiment with drugs or alcohol, just wait until you're 25 when the brain is fully developed. She made quite the impression and he has lived by her words. Much smarter boy than his dad.

Did I say she was hot?

If someone is Hell Bent enough to Collapse an Entire Industry, I'm Not Sure Why it Wouldn't?
Because Juul's new (part-)owners are a formidable force when it comes to lobbying and lawyering.

If I lived in Maine (brrr!), I'd hope it does cover Juul pods, 'cause I'd want those guys on my side.

I wonder, would a Juul pod qualify as a "Nicotine Liquid Container"?

Unfortunately, the way it is worded now, it could conceivably cover not just bottles of nicotine, but even EMPTY container's that are intended to hold liquid nicotine at any point in their lifespan. This could mean tanks, RDA's, empty bottles sold as nic bottles, etc. Not sure if they will try to enforce it that way or not and it would ultimately be up to a judge to decide. Although I am not sure it even matters if you cannot buy any liquid at all online or in person then having a tank or RDA is essentially useless.

If I lived in Main, I'd be pretending it was colonial Boston and raiding their docks throwing everything into the water. Figuratively that is, meaning it would be time to rise up and overthrow the tyranny.
