Had to look myself
I love watching those old videos of vintage gear. Grimm Green successfully predicted the future would have larger battery devices which would replace the ciga-likes. I don't recall the battery size that the Screwdriver required, but Grimm would later review the AltSmoke Silver Bullet which used an 18650 battery, the battery that would become the standard for "mods" for years to come. The Silver Bullet was my very first mod, and I still have one of the two that I owned.
I still have a silver and a black one both with kick adapters. If I dug around, I could find the kicks.
And he repeated himself six times over.A review under ten minutes, ahhhh, those were the days lol.
Who remembers Trog's Screwdriver? Man, things sure have changed since those days in the vaping world.![]()

A a bad tattoo is something you do once, and regret a thousand times...Wow, that was GrimGreen. I suppose I shouldn't say this, but...
I don't mind tattoos at all. Tempted to get one now and then.
But, when I look at Grim today, with his tattooed neck and arm, it creeps me out, and all I see is a lizard. I feel awful about this. I was quite a counter culture longhaired kid in my youth, and am still quite a rebel. But, lizard is all I can think of. Yuk. Sorry.
Sorta interesting how a single 18650 used to be regarded as a huge battery that would easily last all day and then some, and now some people carry around a spare set of batteries for their 2- and even 3-cell mods.
FWIW, I'm still good with a single 18650 mech squonker and don't carry extra batteries.![]()
