I graduated from the Joye 510 to the eGo and then jumped into the Provari V2 on my first anniversary vaping. I still have the Provari and it still looks and works like new after about 9 years vaping. The other day I ran across a box in the closet that contains the Provari and a dozen other mods and attys that I bought in my search for the ultimate vape. Those are my FDA insurance protection devices.

Have any of you seen the 'look at youth vaping study'? I don't know if I can link it here since it says not to cite or distribute it as it is 'under review'.

Juul and nic salts is definitely the devil according to this study.

If you try to compromise with ANTZ on taxes, online bans, indoor bans, c-store bans, etc. because a youth vaping "epidemic" is "erasing progress," you're compromising on a LIE. You've just ADMITTED GUILT to something that doesn't even exist and THEY WIN.

    Hear, hear!

    Good luck. :)

    Has everybody heard about this?

An Obscure Safety Rule Could Shut Down the Vaping Industry

"The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has quietly amended guidelines for e-liquid containers, and the changes could mean that millions of bottles of e-juice on vape shop shelves and in warehouses will be declared non-compliant and subject to recall or even destruction."

"The FDA Deeming Rule prohibits manufacturers from changing the packaging of a product (except labels) introduced before Aug. 8, 2016. Any alteration to the product — including new bottles — would make a deemed product non-compliant and subject to the requirement for an approved premarket tobacco application before it can be legally sold."

I seriously doubt the FDA would shut down all e-liquid sales because the manufacturers are forced to change the bottles, but anything is possible.

All I can say is the 2020 election is more important than ever. If we get a President that appoints a new FDA chairperson that wants to utterly destroy vaping, this will allow them to do it.

While I agree that the next election is very important, the FDA didn't need this to destroy vaping. All they have to do is enforce the Deeming Regs as written.

If the news story is accurate, this might be a good time to get some nic base ordered for your freezer. :2c:

This is what I'm wondering about as well.
I have 6 empty gallon jugs, just for the occasion that I may need to make some snap-buys of nic. (Already have ~3 liters in freezer at all times.)
I just hope there will be enough chatter about the vaping community (and that I NOTICE it) that I can get some before supply gets too thin.

I've heard for about 6 years, the phrase "might be a good time to get some more nic". So I'm at a loss as to how to tell when that time may really be here. There's been so much 'sky is falling', that I don't know if I know how to tell when the sky might actually be falling.

I bought my freezer stock in glass bottles so I wouldn't have to transfer it until I was ready to use it. If we get caught in the catch-22 mentioned in the story and the comments, it could make things difficult.

Due to a crazy-tiny apartment, I have absolutely no room for more of anything in a freezer.. But I can muster a bit of space in a closet. Hence why I don't want to get more sooner than would be necessary -- it would only be for full-fledged prohibition-style bootlegging. :) They're still amber glass with phenolic polycone caps, but they'll be unrefrigerated nonetheless.

This is what happens when you have a huge number of bureaucrats whose job it is to make and enforce regulations. They have to justify their existence. The regulatory state has become a large sprawling, virtually unaccountable, “Fourth Branch of Government”.

    Unelected bureaucrats I might add.
