You Americans are so naive. The Real Supreme Overlords are the purveyors of lobbyists and dark money. The others are but employees...

In my naivete, I must have missed the influence of money on politics, gosh thanks. But for your post, I might have lived out my life as a poor simple naive fool.

I have either 5 or 7 litres in the freezer. ( I need to count again ). It’ll be January before it’s cold enough to order nic again, so this better be enough! I have a sinking feeling it’ll be too late in 8 months. Hopefully I’m wrong
Right now I don't see them going after DIY supplies on the federal level in the near-term; that's not what appeals to "the children", who the nannies are ostensibly out to save from a certain lifetime of nicotine addiction.

Now people like @Nancy D who live in places that are contemplating a ban on out-of-state / remote purchases have reason to be a bit more antsy than the rest of us.

When they briefly passed a law in Indiana that would have stopped the purchase of juice from out of State I emailed WL and asked them if it affected nic or flavorings. They said it didn't affect them. I ordered a liter just to be sure.

Seems like banning the import or purchase of nic base requires a separate specific regulation. Maybe. I'm not sure about States that currently have bans on out of State purchase of juice.

I wonder if the Commerce Clause will interest any of the Federal Judiciary should suit be filed. Some how, I sort of doubt it when this sort of commerce is involved.

Nicotine is the only part of diy I could see them trying to restrict. I think state level bans should be more of a worry for all of us. If they stand in the first states to enact them, I think others will follow.

I read a NYT article just now about vaping regulations and it mentioned taking action against minors vaping flavored juice by having age verification for tobacco products in NY. (It’s nicotine not tobacco, though. We all kicked the tobacco habit with vaping...)
Tobacco flavored liquids are okay apparently, since kids supposedly don’t vape them! All of this bs can snowball by making legal precedents that could be harmful to vaping in the rest of the country.
Do you remember where you heard about an out of state ban? They did mention a convenience store group trying to block regulation on the grounds that the FDA is over-reaching it’s authority. And they’re not the only ones po’d at the FDA, it seems, since this would affect a lot of businesses. I can’t say what I’d like to about the FDA right now, it’s all cursing related!

Btw, I found 100 mg/ml VG at LNW, and I’m wondering if I can mix the nic VG with some no nic palm based VG I found, and cut it to 3-6mgs without too much hassle. I got some excellent juice from Gothic Vapor and they use non GMO palm VG. Right out of the box, these are tasty and smooth with nice clouds. Feels different than soy VG actually.
I don’t eat any soy anymore so if I can avoid vaping it, so much the better.

I’m asking you since ECF vets are smart and helpful. And are prepared and rebuild coils. And DIY juice. And don’t start forest fires with dropped cigs...:D

I'm wondering if it requires a separate specific regulation as well. It sure seems like it must.

I guessing you poor folks in the People's Republic of Indiana might be the first to let us know.

In the meantime, I just laugh (and spit) at stupid lawmakers when I read about them wanting to tax per ml or ban flavorings other than tobacco.

I thought it was from you, but it seems I mis-remembered what you wrote:
The only vape shop near me closed over a year ago so if they ban online sales, we'll be fracked. No car at the moment.

You have no idea how bad i am at math. Thanks, man.

These days, I am myself too.. That's where an ejuice calc becomes indispensable. ;) Like the one in my sig, if you know you eventually might want to get into mixing. Or one that might be better for beginners, and especially for your immediate use of it: EjuiceMeUp. Just don't put any flavors in the 'recipe'.

Cool. I do want to DIY, and not just to be prepared. I am always throwing different flavored pre-made juice into my tanks to tweak them throughout the day. Even adding unflavored to pre-made to tone it down.
It would be great to be able to make something I really like, to have as a solid ADV. And saving some money would be pretty great too! :)

When I saw fractions and percentages, I was kinda bummed. But the place where I found nic VG had a kit with pipettes, luerlocks, droppers, bottles and gloves. It’s easier for me now to get a “starter mixing kit” to try it out. And with a handy calculator to help, I’m not so scared to try!

Thanks, Hoggy. This forum is amazing. The folks here are really generous about helping beginners with info and advice. It blows my mind how lucky I am to have found you all!

There’s a great thread with a lot of veteran mixers. I don’t know if my diy journey would have been as nice without their guidance, advice and recipes!!Come join the diy crew here:

Thanks, I will! :)
The people in the DIY liquid groups way overcomplicate mixing to agrandize themselves but it does more harm than good by discouraging a lot of people. The safe way to start mixing is add pg, vg, and nic to a pre mix you already like, may be 50-50. Give yourself a few days to get used to the muted taste and the original pre-mix will probably taste too strong. After that get some sample sizes of various all in one flavoring and experiment. Start at 1 or 2% flavoring and give it a try. You can always add more later. I mix with graduated glass cylinders one or two months at a time. At very low flavoring percent I never tire of a flavor so only need to vape one. I buy it in 240 ml bottles for $14. It lasts for years.

Thanks so much. I’ll give it a try. I have 120 mls of unflavored. I just got a bunch of juice in the mail so I’ll cut them with it. :)

Yep, many commercial e-juices are OK when diluted (even up to 2+ times for some), but not all of them. Try 1/3 and 1/2, works for most.

Thanks! I got some flavors outside of my comfort zone, it will be interesting to cut them. Like, I’m not a peach cream mint person but it’s actually my favorite one now uncut. This should be fun!

The peach and cream sound good. The mint might throw me. Can you share the name?
