Interesting story on a large study being set up by the NIH looking at multiple factors in the risk of long term lung issues by various environmental exposures including vaping. It obviously will rely on a large number of enrollees and run for now 6 years although likely to be extended. It might yield some actual long term hard data on safety and new methods to avoid chronic lung diseases. Unfortunately there are some of us old folk here who will not benefit from the information as we may not be around 10 years to see all the results. Still, it's nice to see longer term studies finally being funded to address the issues of long term exposure to both vaping and other important stuff like air quality.
