I know when I'm watching enough news, and that would be when I watch none.
I used to listen to NPR in the car, and then realized their cycle was, "natural emergency." "Hateful political stuff," "We are all going to die because Mankind did something dumb." "That awful woman, Dianne something who needs to get off the news already because she has to get TREATMENTS to talk and she sounds like she is made of badly bent vinyl, usually going for controversy she knows little about", "back to death of humanity by ANOTHER terrible cause," "Book review, usually pretentious," "FUNDING DRIVE."
It got to be like my favorite times were the funding drives, so I was like "I should stop."
My life has improved about 500%.
Seriously the only good thing to come from NPR was Ira Glass, and every woman in my family would give ANYTHING to meet him, and EVERYTHING to "meet" him. Despite that I hear he's like built like an adolescent anorexic.
But he's an anomaly dude. Every news station has to have SOMETHING good.
Also I want to kick Garrison Keiler in the nuts. It is this UNBRIDLED sensation every time I heard his show (is he dead? Please let him be dead) and was like THIS IS BORING AND ALSO MAKES ME ANGRY AS HELL all at the same time. LOL.
