Or as my son said when he was little, "I'm going to my room and I might not ever come out."

You know, I grew up in countries where like, popcorn was not really a "thing." At least at the time. I mean, in France you could buy roasted chestnuts from carts in the holiday season (they are utterly disgusting) but also vendors that would provide you with the BEST GRILLED CHEESE sandwich of all time. They are called "croq monsieurs." I forget what it means exactly.

Popcorn was ONE USA food that I was unabashedly PRO. I mean, like, peanut butter (and JELLY!) kind of make me gag a bit but popcorn was TOTALLY the bomb.

Trust someone to ruin popcorn and vaping all at once. For SHAME.

And like the PANS that you shove on the stove and there is this accordion like metal thing where it inflates? PURE GENIUS if you ask me.

I am never again uttering "popcorn" and "vaping" in the same sentence after this. It's too sad.

The Croque Monsieur is a magnificent sandwich.

I'm so ...... right now I don't know what to do with myself. Watching vaping being killed like this is heartbreaking. This whole situation felt unreal for awhile, but it's real alright. I think the final straw was that c-span congressional hearing today. It didn't break my back, but something broke. Someone pinch me please, I want to wake up in a sane world. Time go for a ride and try to blow off some steam.

Isn’t nicotine found in tomatoes and eggplant? I mean I get what they are saying but there are a lot of thing that makes the definition a grey area potential.

Sorry if it sounds silly. All this is beginning to depress me [emoji22]

I was furious after watching Tamron Hall today on her segment on “e-cigarettes”. As I googled to find a link to share (cause honestly, I’d like her Twitter/whatever feed lit up with what a fool she is), I found this... has anyone heard anything about this? What would it mean for us long term since most everything comes out of China?? Sorry, it’s really just a blurb...China planning controls on e-cigarettes amid health concern

Did China real ban in 2018? But still manufacture? Did I read that right?

I think the point is they don't care about how safe it is or if found in food. Nada. They just want money and power.

I think I'm gonna cross post this a few places.
I may be going bat:censored: crazy at this point from all the bull:censored: but...

    Children.
Do they let children speak at these things ? (after all...they are trying to SAVE THE CHILDREN !)

Vapers have children and grand children - and great grand children.

Children and grand children that are grateful their parent(s) / grand parent(s) switched from smoking to vaping.
Children that are grateful for how much better that/those parent(s) / grand parent(s) are since they switched.

Children that WANT their parent(s) / grand parent(s) to be able to continue to have this method of harm reduction available to them...and to have a choice other than smoking cigarettes.

Children that don't want their parent(s) / grand parent(s) to go back to smoking cigarettes.

    CHILDREN !

    Ask the children of VAPERS.

Indeed, ask mine. They both think it's a minor miracle.

FWIW, they're both in their 20s now and neither of 'em smoke or vape.

And then there's my wife, who never smoked or vaped. Every time she sees this stuff in the news, she asks me: "Are you sure you've got enough stuff?"

That's what that article said. However, they obviously have no problem manufacturing vape products for overseas sales. Revenue is good, and and apparently China has uncoupled the two in governing.

Let's face it, they also have no problem manufacturing fentanyl and mailing it to US buyers by regular mail, but if they released it on Chinese streets they'd be executed. As far as the Chinese government is concerned, it's your citizens asking to order and use it, we just meet the demand. If Americans stopped ordering it we wouldn't make and sell it to them.

True, it will be easy, especially if they stocked up now.

It comes back to that "trust" thing. People trusted those Dank cartos and look what happened.

You sound just like an ANTZ person with this comment, congratulations. Vast majority in the forthcoming market will be fine. You're free to pretend otherwise.

I will refrain from saying what you sound like..........

ETA: PLONK! (if you are old enough to know what that actually means)

The United States also manufactures and sells stuff abroad that can't be sold here. Probably every country does. When people have dollar signs in their eyes they're often conveniently blind to much else.
