Yes, I am accepting applications for like, uh, being part of my nic estate. I like guns, kitchen appliances, and money. Money never hurts. LOL.

I cannot believe the unbelievable fortitude with which the husband slowly but surely let me take over the GIGANTIC freezer I did leave him a little spot for meat, but well, then I needed snus for work.... He didn't complain one time but I think he did not have fun the 18 months I spent with intractable pneumonia EITHER.

Oh, I don't know, foresight, planning and the willingness to go ahead anyway like, deserves some gloating if you ask me.

Yeah, stocked up here as well. I am all in on salts, but I just started thinking that maybe at some point salts would not be for me. It would be nice to diversify, but I won't be able to consider that for a year I am thinking. So either I cross my fingers that PMTA and tax doesn't kill my ability to stock up again in a year or I make good friends with Mrs. 37.9 Liters, I mean @stols001...

If you think it was easy obtaining 37.9 liters (plus one working liter) in one freezer AND THEN unexpectedly transporting it across country, well, it wasn't.

OMG! Is that 37.9 liters of 100mg nic or what? How many years would that last you? If it is 100mg nic, that would last me over 150 years. I only saved 4 liters of 100mg that will last me about 16 years. Unfortunately, one liter fell out of the freezer and hit the cement basement floor. It looked fine, so I stuck it back in there on its side. Unfortunately, the cap was taped (so I couldn't see the damage) and the cap cracked and while it was even in a ziplock bag, 60% still leaked out all over the place in the freezer. So I only have 12 years plus.

I didn't know you had 37.9 liters of nic that you were traveling across the country, so I am so glad I didn't say anything while you were asking for advice. Because you sure did get a lot of excellent advice. But if were me, taking them at room temperature I believe they would be fine for a few weeks. But I only have 4 liters 3 liters of nic to gamble with.

If the price of nic shoots up or gets almost impossible to get. You're going to be very popular around here. :p

IDK I have so many setups going well, I just erred on the side of caution.

I am also hoping.... Someday... the husband will start vaping.

Yeah I have a lot of nic. If I ever figure out how much I "need" and I am way over I will FOR SURE be happy to send out nic.

I don't ever want a vaper (especially me) to go without and I was in a position to do it.;.. So I DID IT.; LOL

I err on the "too much " side but I see NOTHING wrong with that.

Anna

I'm 45 though and the women on both sides LIVE OLD.

I take it he's currently a smoker?

If so, out of curiosity, what has stopped him from switching to vaping seeing how his wife has been his guinea pig for years (I assume you've been vaping for at least 2 years, no?)?

"Reynolds American Inc. (RAI), has filed its final premarket tobacco product application (PMTA) submissions with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to allow its Vuse and Velo brands to remain on the market in the United States.

Submitted Sept. 4, the filing concludes an 11-month process for RAI. The company has filed six applications for its Vuse Solo, Vuse Ciro and Vuse Vibe vapor products, as well as for its Velo nicotine lozenge and modern oral pouch products. Across the six applications, more than 530,000 pages of scientific data and more than 8,600 scientific documents have been submitted as part of the filings."

RAI Concludes PMTA Filings With Vuse and Velo Submissions - Tobacco Reporter

I wonder How Long it would take the Average Person to Read 530,000 Pages?

At 1 Minute per page, that comes out to about 8800 Hours. Or just under Four and One Half Years working 40 Hours a Week.

And that Doesn't account for Cross-Referencing to the 8,600 Pages of "Scientific Documents" to see if Any of it is even True?

Yeah... There is Nothing in the FDA's PMTA Guidance about having to submit Truthful Data.

They will determine what is true, what is false and if it even matters based on who has the most influential lobbyists in DC. That's how soft tyranny works.

Well I think it's almost or even over 3 actually. I can't remember and after I fell horridly off the wagon after my one year anniversary, I don't keep more than the most rudimentary of track. Same goes with the other stuff I can give you an approximate date/time I gave it up but I don't keep track.

Apparently I do not do well with celebrations.

The husband tried dual using a bit after I'd quit for a few months. He started smoking when he was 8 though, and he never really smoked as much as I did, which was got me really sick in the end (like 3 ppd) so he doesn't see so much of the health effects. I don't think he ever got to the point with vaping where he saw the benefits, and he has been under a ton of stress mainly moving us non stop and with a broken neck times two.

I am of the personal opinion that if you have chronic pain and/pr some kind of mental disorder, you should get to smoke forever if you want. LOL I guess my creator does not agree and actually with the right type of support these groups do just as well quitting as any other group.

I think he notes how sprightly and whatever I am as compared to before he just is not there yet.

Also, he's a) lucky he hasn't had any major health effects (although some you find out about kinda late) and my dad was a smoker when I was very young. I actually find it comforting and will go SNIFF him if I am having a rough time although there are those strangers you meet that reek of stale smoke and it's pretty vile. But it doesn't really bug me on him.

I find it strange that, unless a site is going out of business, I have yet to see any online US retailers posting anything about tomorrow being the end of everything or almost everything they sell.

Maybe they're all holding out for the extension to come through, but I'm pretty sure any extension has to be approved by the courts, not the FDA, just like the last one, which took well over a month to be approved. Too late for that.

I expect a lot of folks will hold out as long as they can. Wait until they get a letter. The FDA doesnt have a big enough army to do too much damage right away. Plus, I do believe them when they say the teen thing will be their priority. Look for C-Stores getting busted for selling to minors.

Wonder what next week will bring...

...

I think a Lot of US Retailers are going to just Keep On Keeping On as if Nothing was Happening.

Until they get the "Warning Letter" from our friends at the FDA/CTP.
