I believe they are. I hear they're healthy cigarettes, will cure whatever ails ya. I might buy a pack myself soon. Feelin' kinda under the weather lately.
R. J. Reynolds now (has for years actually) owns the company that makes them, Santa Fe Natural. So they're probably not as healthy as they used to be.
A friend of mine still smokes them, even though I had gotten him into vaping but he 'relapsed', said they don't taste like they used to.

OK people, it's time to get active again. It looks like the House Dems are trying to add S 1253 to the big spending bill that won't be vetoed by the President. This bill would add vaping products to the PACT Act. At the very least, it would make vape mail very difficult and expensive, and maybe kill it completely. Please do the CASAA call to action.

Both sides have it out for vaping. We are a minority who they can easily come after. That’s the fact. One side may have delayed the inevitable for a time but if we’re being honest that ‘time’ would still arrive.

Generally, I agree. All politicians of whatever stripe need to be seen as "doing something" about whatever perceived object of the latest panic is even if that "something" is stupid or ineffective or, perhaps, even counterproductive.

Then you probably Know that when a thread gets Moved to the OUTSIDE that Regular ECF Members Posting plummets to near Zero. So Moving a Thread to the OUTSIDE Doesn't move the Discussion.
It would be a Shame if this Thread was Relegated to the OUTSIDE. There just Isn't much left anymore on this side of the ECF regarding Policy and Legislative matters.
But I would be Interested to hear Your Views on where You think the New Administration is going to take e-Cigarettes. So if you Create an OUTSIDE Thread as newyork13 suggested, please post a Link to it.

Tennessee claims e-cigarettes does not contain tobacco, thus not taxable by the TN tobacco tax. At least one state is using their head.
