And the WHO is so wise, we must all submit.

There, I fixed it for you.

Hey, Territoo, I was serious, really really serious. Any organization that can completely botch an investigation then endlessly change the goals all the while convincing over half the world's population to obey is .... Well, the WHO is something to behold.

I had a feeling there would be a global attack on vaping at some point. Today open systems. Tomorrow "vaping increases chances of dying from COVID-64".

Tyrants are predictable.
It's all about control. The best way for "them" to do it, is to cause such fear and panic [corona virus] that only the brave have the guts to look past the fear.

Yes, but what is really something to behold is the half of the world which is obeying. How many adjectives can i come up with: tragic, pathetic, tyrannical...? Long list.

Follow the money. Always. They'll kill for the money. Big tobacco, Big Pharma, Big Government, ... They'll kill for the money like gangsters, without hesitation, without a qualm.

You and @Territoo have introduced me to something I've not seen before, green text when speaking of the gubmint. Looked it up and can't find it's meaning. either one of you care to enlighten this poor fool?

@zoiDman was the person who got this going, I believe. It was due to sarcasm not translating well in text. I generally use green but at times I am captured by "irrational exuberance".

To determine CDR, you need the ability to discharge at high currents and a CBA IV is good for that. But you also need the ability to accurately measure cell temperature, because that tends to be the limiting factor.

If you just want to test capacity accurately, you don't need a CBA IV, the CBA HR is just fine for 0.2C discharges and is more accurate.

For A/C IR, I use a Vapcell YR1030. I have yet to come up with a method of measuring DC IR that's consistently repeatable.

Says, @Rossum ... have you seen this batt tester from ASMODUS? If so, do you have any opinions about it. I've only been able to find 'reviews' that show it's features and how it works ... not how 'good' it is or isn't.

One thing I didn't particularly like was that it seemed to have only a 2amp charge capability. I suppose if you only use it to test a battery, a 2amp charge every once in a while isn't too bad on the batt. But I wouldn't want to regularly charge my batts at 2 amps.

asMODus Battery Analyzer & Charger D500-TY (PROMO).

(I have found it for less at other sites)

Hope it's good, I just ordered one. I always wanted a battery tester but all the ones I've seen before were expensive upmarket chargers with testing as a feature. This is basically just a tester. Currently I throw batteries out after 3 years. Maybe some of them are still good, maybe some I should have got rid of sooner. With multiple mods going I have no way of figuring out when they don't last as long as they should. Maybe just test them all every 3 months or whatever.

Had to pay $10 for adult sig delivery. First time I've had to do that. Hopefully the last since I finished stocking up some time back.
